Summary/Objective:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares, administers and measures radioactive isotopes in diagnostic cardiac studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for preparing stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculating doses to be administered by cardiologists. 
Essential Functions:

Job Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Perform PET/CT imaging including Wholebody FDG PET/CT, Brain PET imaging, limited Cardiac PET, and Neuroendocrine Imaging.</li>
<li>Conduct tumor localization scans for oncologic diagnosis.</li>
<li>Operate and maintain two PET/CT scanners in an inpatient and outpatient setting.</li>
<li>Perform IV starts and utilize PACS for imaging management.</li>
<li>Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging.</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>BLS Certification (Required)</li>
<li>ARRT or NMTCB Certification (Required)</li>
<li>State License in Nuclear Medicine (Required)</li>
<li>Minimum 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine (Preferred)</li>
<li>Experience in PET, Cardiac, Brain Scans, and Tumor Localization</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and radiation safety</li>
</ul>

<li>Schedule: 5x8-Hour Days (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM, 08:30 AM – 05:00 PM, 09:30 AM – 06:00 PM, or 10:30 AM – 07:00 PM)</li>
<li>Contract Length: 13 weeks</li>
<li>Pay Rate: $75 - $80/hour</li>
</ul>
