POSITION TITLE: Truck Driver 
Scaffold Resource has been a fixture and steady force in the Mid-Atlantic region’s scaffold and vertical access industry for more than two decades. DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITES:
 
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safe transportation of scaffolding materials to and from job sites, ensuring timely deliveries, and assisting with loading/unloading as needed. Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Safely operate a 24’ flatbed with Moffet or tractor to transport scaffolding and mobile equipment. </li>
<li>Load and unload scaffolding equipment at job sites using proper lifting techniques and equipment.</li>
<li>Ensure all materials are secured properly for transit.</li>
<li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate bill of ladings. </li>
<li>Follow all DOT, state, and company driving regulations.</li>
<li>Assist the scaffolding team in material handling and site setup when needed.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding deliveries. </li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>Valid CDL Class A or B driver’s license with a clean driving record.</li>
<li>Experience operating commercial trucks, preferably in construction or scaffolding industries.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures.</li>
<li>Good communication and teamwork skills.</li>
<li>Forklift certification is a plus.</li>
<li>Commitment to excellent customer service. </li>
<li>Ability to maintain an active state issued driver’s license. </li>
</ul>
JOB DEMANDS:

This is an essential role responsible for the transporting of our cars, equipment, and supplies to and from racetracks across the country. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Transport race cars, equipment, and supplies in a safe and timely manner.</li>
<li>Ensure meticulous care in loading and unloading cargo while protecting valuable assets.</li>
<li>Collaborate with team members to coordinate logistics and ensure smooth operations during race weekends.</li>
<li>Responsible for trucking department logs and paperwork including all DOT and IFTA requirements.</li>
<li>Responsible for Load Schedules, Load Lists, Manifests and Equipment Preparation and Maintenance.</li>
<li>Preparation of Wheels (including maintaining inventory) and Tire Management.</li>
<li>Conduct regular transporter inspections and maintenance to uphold the highest safety standards.</li>
<li>This position requires extensive domestic travel throughout the year (approx. 100 days per year).</li>
<li>This role may require working hours outside of the traditional “8 to 5” working environment, including nights/weekends/holidays.</li>
</ul>
Education, Knowledge, and Skills:
<ul>
<li>A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License is required.</li>
<li>Requires at least 3 years of driving experience and clean driving record.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.</li>
<li>Knowledgeable and ability to adhere to all applicable DOT, DMV, State and Federal highway safety rules and regulations.</li>
<li>Ability to complete domestic repairs and minor renovations to the transporter when needed.</li>
