Job Summary:

SUMMARY
Under limited supervision of the Manager, this position is that of a hands-on Assistant Manager responsible for the daily operation of ETM/TCM. 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

<li>Assist Manager in guiding, coaching, training and developing the technical and personal skills of the staff. Must be able to read and apply company procedure documents.</li>
<li>Distribute staff schedules and daily work assignments to front line cashiers.</li>
<li>Assist Manager in the ordering and pricing of inventory.</li>
<li>Control and verify in-coming stock of daily vendors.</li>
<li>Process shift paperwork.</li>

Must obtain a Level B license from EPA UST before being added to schedule, training will be provided by company. 
Must obtain certification from Safe Food Handling, to be updated yearly. Training will be provided by company. 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Partners with support areas (Asset Protection, Human Resources, Safety, Finance, etc.) to further business goals and ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.</li>
<li>Builds a high-performing team.</li>
<li>Responsible for performance management (coaching, discipline, performance improvement plans, and annual reviews), staffing, compensation, and development of Team Members.</li>
<li>Ensures that the Assistant Store Manager effectively manages performance of Retail Store Associates.</li>
<li>Plays critical role in driving company culture change efforts and change management processes.</li>

 Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills): 
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Two years' work experience in Retail Management, preferably thrift</li>
<li>One-year customer service experience</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite</li>
<li>Valid drivers' license and clean MVR</li>
<li>Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position</li>
<li>Ability to speak and read English proficiently</li>
