Compensation and Employment Details:
Full-time employees earn an average annual salary of $130,000, includes overtime hours.
At MD Office Solutions, full-time status is defined as working 30 or more hours per work week.
Pay: $60.00 per hour to start

Requirements:

<li>American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and CPR courses.</li>

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist uses radioactive drugs and imaging equipment to diagnose and treat patients with various medical conditions and diseases. The Technologist works with physicians and other medical staff to prepare and administer drugs and record and interpret the images. 
 
Requirements:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION/COMPETENCIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

<li>Documents pertinent patient information according to department policies. Includes record of radiopharmaceutical administration and relative required documentation.</li>
<li>Provides explanation of procedure, discharge information, and expectations of test completion and availability of results.</li>
<li>Prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals.</li>
<li>Utilizes appropriate immobilization and shielding techniques to protect patients from safety risks.</li>
<li>Operates imaging equipment according to established procedures, including cameras, post processing computers and monitoring devices.</li>
<li>Meets the individual physical and mental needs of patients during procedures including comfort, privacy, confidentiality and timely communication.</li>
<li>Prepares images for interpretation by completing required post processing protocols.</li>
<li>Utilizes appropriate radiation safety methods for patients, visitors and all staff.</li>
<li>Complies with State regulations for the use and disposal of radioactive materials.</li>

Job Summary and Qualifications
Our&nbsp;Nuclear Medicine Technologists perform tests for diagnosis and medical research. They prepare and give small doses of radioactive drugs (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients, then use high-level imaging equipment to record images of the radioactive material in the body. They collaborate with doctors, medical physicists, nuclear pharmacists, nurses and administrative staff to provide the best level care.&nbsp;&nbsp;Unlock the possibilities in your career by joining a team that cares like family.
What you will do in this role: 
<ul>
<li>Nuclear Medicine Technologist completes nuclear medicine procedures including routine procedures and nuclear medicine therapies.</li>
<li>The Nuclear Medicine Technologists participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Improvement activities.</li>
<li>The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works within the guidelines established in the policies and procedure manual and complies with all safety and infection control guidelines.</li>
</ul>
 What qualifications you will need:
<ul>
<li>Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date</li>
<li>Associate Degree</li>
<li>Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)&nbsp;</li>

Job Summary and Qualifications
Performs all Nuclear Medicine procedures according to established policies and procedures, methods and standards to provide quality patient care.
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Able to communicate on a professional level with patients, nurses, physicians and other ancillary staff.</li>
<li>Must be able to provide quality results for diagnostic testing.</li>
<li>Provides a sensitive and supportive environment for patients and family members.</li>
<li>Graduate of accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.</li>
<li>CNMT or ARRT registry eligible.</li>
<li>Experience in Nuclear Medicine (may include experience in formal NM formal training program)</li>
<li>Prefer three years experience in nuclear medicine department. Required to be registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Or Certified Nuclear Medical Technologist</li>
