The State University of New York, Upstate Medical University’s Norton College of Medicine (SUNY Upstate) is seeking a Division Chief for Hematology/Oncology to oversee the growth and expansion of an already highly-respected division within the institution. The Opportunity
The Chief, Division of Hematology/Oncology is the academic, clinical, and administrative leader of the Division of Hematology/Oncology at SUNY Upstate. The Division of Hematology/Oncology at SUNY Upstate is on an upward trajectory and home to a highly talented group of 16 faculty members, additional advanced practice providers, clinical research associates, and operates a 3-year hematology/oncology fellowship program (12 fellows). The Upstate Cancer Center is the leading cancer program in Central New York providing world-class multidisciplinary care for the nearly 1.8 million residents of Central New York integrated with robust research and educational programs.&nbsp; The Cancer Center operates out of a dedicated 150,000 square foot state-of-art facility adjacent to the main academic campus that supports comprehensive multidisciplinary cancer programs. Division Chief, Hematology and Oncology

SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Community Partnerships, the Museum Director provides leadership and directs policymaking, planning, organization, staffing, and operations. Montclair State University recently made an exciting announcement that it will receive a $5 million transformational gift that it will use to become an educational partner in the creation and operation of a museum and learning center at historic Hinchliffe Stadium in Paterson, New Jersey. The museum is scheduled to open in fall 2023. The Director serves as the spokesperson and chief advocate for the Museum and works closely with the Advisory Board to refine, develop, and implement a progressive program for the Museum’s fundraising, exhibitions, collections management, educational activities, and community outreach. &nbsp;
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works in conjunction with the Board to develop the strategic direction and establish initiatives to fulfill the mission of the Museum and increase local, statewide and national awareness and prominence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The George Washington University Law Library seeks a qualified librarian for its Head of Legal Technology &amp; Instructional Services position to begin as early as September 15, 2023. As a member of the library’s dynamic, collaborative Instructional Technology Services team, the librarian in this position has primary oversight for the Office of Legal Technology &amp; Instructional Services. This position leads the development and delivery of services supporting the integration of library resources into the curriculum, the curation and use of the library’s growing electronic resources collection, the use of scholarly communication technologies and services, and the undertaking of digital initiatives. As the subject specialist for legal pedagogy and technology competency, this position works to improve student success by embedding the library in online teaching and learning spaces, integrating librarians into the face-to-face curriculum, and supporting faculty adoption of technologies to achieve learning outcomes.
The Law Library supports the curricular and teaching requirements of the Law School, the research and publication needs of the law faculty, and the study and research needs of the law students; and provides to the scholarly community at large access to a research collection of material about the law and its history. The Position: The Vice President for Finance and Administration/CFO (VPFA) reports directly to the President and is a key member of the President's leadership team. A Cuban immigrant and first-generation college student who grew up in Puerto Rico, Fernández comes to Warren Wilson with more than 30 years of experience in teaching and leadership positions at both private and public institutions.

The Role:
The Associate Dean is a leadership partner to the Dean. Primary responsibilities include supervision, coordination and leadership for all curricular issues, general education, and graduate education; implementation of College of Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) courses, programs and strategic priorities; and policy coordination. The Management and Organization (MOR) Department at the USC-Marshall School of Business seeks to hire new tenure-track faculty members in Strategy to begin in Fall 2024. The MOR department is interdisciplinary; our 23 tenured/tenure-track faculty members span organizational behavior, organization theory, and strategy and have a variety of backgrounds, including psychology, sociology, economics, and general management/strategy. In the strategy area, research interests are broad, and faculty complement publishing in management and strategy journals with publications in discipline journals. Job Description The School of Natural Resources (SNR) at the University of Missouri (MU) is seeking a faculty member in Climate Science. With this position, MU will better occupy a place among a select group of universities that boast a truly integrated and multidisciplinary approach to extension, research, and actionable scholarship in the field of climate science. This position will strengthen growing teaching and research programs, collaborate with other established MU research centers to garner major grants, form innovative new partnerships with private and public partners, and contribute toward improving grant and publication metrics considered in the Association of American Universities' (AAU) rankings. This position will complement and collaborate with faculty in SNR; the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR); and other colleges and departments across the MU campus. This is a 9-month, tenure-track appointment in teaching and research at the assistant professor level. Assistant Professor of Climate Science (TT)

The College of Science is seeking a Program Coordinator. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position. The Research Development Unit (RDU) within the College of Science is focused on accelerating research growth by leveraging college resources to encourage faculty to address grand societal research challenges and target funding opportunities to increase the size and number of competitive research grants in alignment with the Oregon State University’s <a href="https://leadership.oregonstate.edu/strategic-plan" target="_blank">Strategic Plan SP4.0</a>, the college’s diversity action plan, <a href="https://science.oregonstate.edu/diversity-plan" target="_blank">Embedding Equity, Access and Inclusion</a>, and the College of Science’s <a href="https://science.oregonstate.edu/our-college/strategic-plan-2015-to-2020" target="_blank">Strategic Plan.</a> The RDU designs and implements services, using an equity, access and inclusion (EAI) lens to help faculty, staff and student investigators succeed in obtaining and maintaining intramural funding within Oregon State University (OSU), and extramural funding from federal agencies and foundation grants. &nbsp; The Program Coordinator is a member of the Research Development Unit working on complex projects, collaborating with faculty, staff, and researchers across the college and university. The Coordinator will report to the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies (Associate Dean) and collaborate with the Associate Dean and Director of Research Development (Director) to manage, administer and grow the programs within the Unit. The Coordinator will collaborate on activities across the unit and provide strategic input in several areas to increase the success of our research enterprise. Responsibilities include providing leadership and oversight within the Research Development Unit to manage projects, track and report research activities, develop and maintain databases of college proposal submissions and awards, provide data analysis and prepare quarterly reports of proposal submission and award progress in collaboration with the Associate Dean and Director. The Coordinator will collaboratively and independently design and implement workshops and other events and projects to support and enhance our research enterprise and portfolio. The Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Associate Dean and Director to develop metrics, including EAI metrics to assess our research, innovation seed-funding and outreach activities. Serves as backup to the proposal support staff and provides mentorship and guidance as needed. This includes assisting faculty with proposal preparation and submission from inception to submission. During busy times, the coordinator will work with the proposal support staff to assist faculty with proposal submissions, including but not limited to budget review/development, budget justification review/development, review of logistical pieces of proposal submission. &nbsp; Assists proposal leads with editing/writing proposals for clarity or offer guidance on strengthening the project description. &nbsp; Revises proposal budgets if requested upon award as needed as a backup to the proposal support staff. &nbsp; Collaborates with the Associate Dean and Director on updating procedures for managing cost share requests. &nbsp; Serves as a backup for the proposal internal review and approval process for proposals submitted to the OSRAA through Cayuse. &nbsp; Collaborates with other units on campus to maintain current information on proposal and award process and policies at the institutional, college and agency level. &nbsp; 10% Professional Development &amp; Other Activities Participates in training and professional development opportunities pertinent to the position, in consultation with and approval by the Associate Dean. &nbsp; Participates in equity, access, and inclusion learning opportunities. &nbsp; Other duties as needed.
