Position Summary
Our exciting Manager-In-Training (MIT) program gives you the opportunity to learn and grow at an established company with over 45 years of experience. As our newest associate, you’ll experience a custom interactive program that will guide you through hands-on and computer-based training, lasting approximately twelve (12) weeks. Job Summary
The Behavioral Health (BH) Patient Services Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting outpatient behavioral health care for established and incoming patients who need psychiatric or counseling services. This individual ensures a welcoming, organized, and compassion environment and links patients to his/her BH provider, assists with administrative and clerical duties, and supports patient behavioral health needs. The coordinator helps connect patients to services and resources while always maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. This is a position of trust and one of frontline support within our care team.
Communication
Good oral and written communication skills are required for this position. Information must be exchanged professionally and appropriately as well as documented in the patient care record. The person in this position must be able to communicate with the patients, staff, and others and to contribute to a positive BH healthcare environment. The ability to communicate in Spanish, Creole, or both is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities

<li>Act as the first point of contact for patients, providing a warm and welcoming environment in person and over the phone and providing quality customer service.</li>

<li>Collect and process payment due for visit and complete daily reconciliation process.</li>
<li>Scan and upload necessary documents such as insurance cards, identification, referrals, and consent forms needed for care.</li>
<li>Work with insurance plans and clinicians to obtain preauthorization of medications and/or services in accordance with payer guidelines.</li>
<li>Assist BH psychiatric treatment services when scheduled including measuring and recording patient vitals (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, etc.) per clinic protocols and ensure all vitals are entered accurately into the EMR and communicated to the care team in a timely manner.</li>
<li>During treatment days, observe patients for any signs of distress or immediate behavioral health concerns and report findings to the BH psychiatric provider promptly.</li>
<li>Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.</li>
<li>Maintains professional behavior and attitude towards patients, visitors, and coworkers.</li>
<li>Ensure reception, waiting, and common areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.</li>

HEALTH SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR / NURSE MANAGER POSITION SUMMARY The Health Services Administrator (HSA) is the chief administrative manager of the on-site health services department. The HSA is accountable for the delivery of contract services and ensuring that VitalCore Health Strategies is in compliance with all aspects of the client contract. The HSA is responsible for recruiting and hiring all personnel and accountable for interviewing and selecting contractual staff. In addition to managing the site budget, the HSA constructs and supervises an annual operational plan. The HSA is responsible for developing and maintaining positive, professional, and collaborative relationships with clients (administrator/warden, supervisor, etc.) and ensuring customer satisfaction. HEALTH SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR / NURSE MANAGER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

<li>Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or another related field.</li>
<li>Licensed Registered Nurse.</li>
<li>Minimum of two (2) years of management experience in a healthcare setting necessary.</li>

<li>Correctional healthcare experience preferred.</li>

HEALTH SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR / NURSE MANAGER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 
<ul>
<li>Manages the healthcare delivery system and coordinates with other functions within the facility.</li>
<li>Manages the budget and financial performance of the site. Submits timely and accurate reports to supervisor and/or</li>
<li>corporate office.</li>
<li>Develops and/or supervises the facility operational plan.</li>
<li>Directs the activities of the assigned staff.</li>
<li>Actively recruits new staff.</li>
<li>Arranges interview process for potential staff including necessary collateral colleagues (i.e., Director of Nursing) and</li>
<li>departments.</li>
<li>Interfaces with VitalCore Human Resources for the hiring and terminating of all site staff. Manages labor ensuring the</li>
<li>site is staffed according to contractual commitments and supervises staff scheduling.</li>
<li>Coordinates and participates in the interviewing and selection of Independent Contractors.</li>
<li>Ensures orientation of new VitalCore personnel by conducting or coordinating all initial new hire and annual orientation</li>
<li>and training activities.</li>
<li>Ensures site utilization and compliance with all VitalCore and applicable client systems and applications.</li>
<li>Coordinates the Medical Audit Committee and facilitates the monthly meetings.</li>
<li>Ensures compliance with ACA and/or NCCHC standards and VitalCore clinical services and administrative policies and</li>
<li>procedures.</li>
<li>Coordinates with Hospital Administrators and other external providers on the delivery of services at hospitals or</li>
<li>other external health services locations outside the facility. When appropriate, negotiates third party contracts for</li>
<li>the facility.</li>
<li>Adheres to and enforces all safety and security policies and procedures and participates in and ensures compliance with</li>
<li>applicable safety/emergency drills.</li>
<li>Follows and enforces all security regulations, including but not limited to keys, sharps, and controlled medications.</li>
<li>Ensures annual performance evaluations are conducted and completed with all personnel, including peer reviews.</li>

 Junior Administrative Services Manager- Junior IRB Administrator
The individual selected for this position will perform a variety of duties to support the Institutional Review Board at the Naval Health Research Center, San Diego, CA. Specifically, work efforts may include reviewing documents, drafting communications, maintaining records and documents and assisting with audits.
Primary Responsibilities:
a. Support the Naval Health Research Center IRB functions and HIPAA Privacy Office functions by reviewing all NHRC studies for compliance with DoD, Navy, and federal regulations and communicate needed changes to study teams for Exempt, Expedited, Full-Board (Initial, Continuing, and Modification) reviews including projects that are FDA-regulated.
b. Draft formal approval letters, information-needed memos, emails, and other written communication according to site-specific, Navy, and DoD, and DHHS guidelines.
c. Maintain IRB records and IRB meeting minutes to document compliance with relevant human subject protection regulations.
d. Maintain document archives in electronic and paper format according to DoD regulations.
e. Maintain training files and assist personnel with training requirements and technical assistance.
f. Create and maintain tracking system for Not Human Subject Research determinations and Data Use Agreements.
g. Assist with site audits as needed, in particular with HIPAA compliance.
h. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the federal regulations on human research protection
 
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications
a. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences or health psychology.
b. A minimum of 5 years of Institutional Review Board (IRB) review experience or military medical R&amp;D activities is required.
c. A minimum 3 years of experience in reviewing and/or running R&amp;D studies.
d. Certification as a Certified IRB Professional (CIP), 2 years relevant experience can be submitted in lieu of CIP certification.
e. Have a sound knowledge of medical terminology, clinical research processes, and IRB submission/filing guidelines.
f. Strong skills to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; be able to communicate with a highly diverse group of people; possess effective organizational and analytical skills; must be highly organized and pay strong attention to detail and accuracy
g. Ability to work independently and as a team member, in fact-paced, demanding, research environment in an effective and flexible manner
h. Possess effective organizational and analytical skills.
i. Proficient with Windows based computer systems including Microsoft Office.

As the Business Services Relationship Manager, your typical day may include the following:

<li>As you sip your morning coffee, you log in reviewing your calendar to prepare call plans for the COI's, prospects, and existing members you lined up from the previous week.</li>
<li>You attend the morning huddle with your department to discuss the weekly workload, plans for success or gain support for any hurdles you face. </li>
<li>Following the review of the pipeline, you begin digging into current deals. Updates are communicated to Credit and your department to ensure quality and transparency. </li>
<li>You take the time to follow up with current borrowers and handle any requests to move the deal forward, or handle action items. </li>
