Manager, Laboratory Services
MAIN FUNCTION:
The Laboratory Manager must work in conjunction with the Laboratory Administrative Director and under the direction Medical Director to ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, DNV and CMS and to accomplish department responsibilities and goals. Is accountable for creating and maintaining a process which cultivates the participation of the team in the assessment, planning and implementation of a high quality and reliable laboratory. Daily, the Manager must supervise all technical and non-technical Laboratory staff and create and/or approve work schedules for all Laboratory Service employees. Assists in the evaluation of and completion of Performance Appraisals for Laboratory employees. The Manager participates in the fiscal management of the department as requested and acts as Administrative Director in the absence of the Director. Oversees the Laboratory Computer System including the Chargemaster system and assures smooth operation of laboratory registration, billing, test coding, and report processing. Works as a collaborative team member with revenue cycle to ensure optimization of charge revenue and responsible for assuring compliance with all applicable laboratory billing and coding laws.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:

<li>Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or Medical Technology from an accredited institution (or the equivalent experience in a laboratory as deemed appropriate by ASCP or CLIA criteria).</li>

<li>Board Certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent registry such as AMT or NAACLS.</li>

Operations

In coordination with the Director, plans, directs, and coordinates operations of the department:

<li>Oversees daily flow of the department including scheduling, assessment of departmental needs, and develops methods of communication and monitoring the off-shift activities</li>
<li>Oversees the continuing education and documentation of continuing education of laboratory staff</li>
<li>Responsible for ongoing competence assessment of staff and organizing annual competence activities</li>
<li>Investigates issues of sample integrity or result quality including the follow up of such incidents in Quantros.</li>
<li>Oversees Technical Specialists to ensure compliance with CAP Checklists/Accreditation.</li>
<li>Assists in strategic planning and implementing Laboratory goals.</li>
<li>Performs inspections at other sites (CAP).</li>
<li>Assists with actively reviewing, maintaining, and in updating laboratory policy and procedure manuals.</li>
<li>Maintains records of all Meditech and Chargemaster updates. Develops periodic testing of LIS and Chargemaster for functionality and consistency.</li>
<li>Performs all on-going monitoring of LIS / Chargemaster systems. Acts as a liaison between IS, Revenue Cycle and the Laboratory. Assures that all compliance guidelines are maintained.</li>
<li>In conjunction with LIS T/S assures compliance and functionality of all instrument interfaces. Works with IS for problem resolution. Builds and maintains all LIS dictionaries for all departments which include: Chemistry, Immunology, Serology, Blood Bank, Molecular, Hematology, Urinalysis, Microbiology, Histology, Pathology and testing menus.</li>
<li>Serves as a consultant to field questions and concerns from physicians and their office staff</li>
<li>Work with physician office managers to assure quality control issues regarding specimen handling and patient result reporting, electronic reporting and/or interfaces are working appropriately.</li>
<li>Oversees ongoing monitoring of quality control results noting trends, shifts or variations from expected ranges. Oversees in the fundamental applications of statistics in QC. Conducts studies, implements projects under direction of the Lab Director to assure continued quality of care.</li>

Job Summary
 The Head Start Health Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation, and oversight of all health services for children and families enrolled in the Head Start Program in Brockton and surrounding communities within Massachusetts. This position ensures the program meets Head Start Performance Standards related to health, safety, and wellness, as well as relevant state (Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care - EEC and Department of Public Health) and local regulations. The Health Manager will work collaboratively with program staff, families, health professionals, and community partners to promote the optimal health and well-being of Head Start children and their families.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Assumes overall accountability for the health services provided or arranged by the Head Start program</li>
<li>Ensure the program’s compliance with all health and safety regulations, including those set forth by Massachusetts EEC; DPH and the Head Start Performance Standards</li>
<li>Collaborate with families to support accessing necessary health services and resources</li>
<li>Direct, supervise and evaluate Health Specialists</li>
<li>Establish and maintain policies and procedures for health-related activities including but not limited to screenings, immunizations, follow up care, mediation administration, medication disposal, and management of communicable diseases. </li>
<li>Prepare an annual budget for health-related expenses including all necessary supplies and equipment</li>
<li>Ensures the necessary medical supplies and equipment are available and in good working order, as required by the state and federal providers, including First Aid kits for each classroom</li>
<li>Ensuring all health determinants are collected, tracked, and analyzed (including all necessary follow-up) as set forth by the Head Start Performance Standards</li>
<li>Recruit and oversee area providers of health care, to perform required testing or screening on children at the Head Start program (e.g., vision, hearing and dental)</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and confidential health records for each child</li>
<li>Develop and implement strategies to promote children’s oral, and physical health while addressing barriers with the inclusion of referrals in a timely manner</li>

The Transitional Services Case Manager oversees the Touchstone Village (TSV), a 20-unit transitional living program and the Maternity Independent Living and Life Skills (MILLS) program, a 9 unit tiny home community. This role delivers life skills training, and ensures policy compliance across programs. The case manager supports residents' academic, vocational, medical, and behavioral needs, facilitates coordination with community partners, and maintains comprehensive documentation for all residents. This position collaborates closely with the Housing Clinical Manager to ensure effective program delivery and positive client outcomes.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

<li>Oversee daily operations, safety, and security of both TSV and MILLS units.</li>
<li>Provide life skills training using agency-approved curricula through group and individual sessions.</li>
<li>Facilitate completion of IL assessments (Casey Life Skills, PAYA) and tabulate scores.</li>
<li>Develop and review individualized Service Plans in collaboration with residents and community partners.</li>
<li>Monitor resident progress and promote advancement through the program.</li>
<li>Coordinate services such as academic, medical, psychiatric, career development, and social needs.</li>
<li>Ensure all documentation (progress notes, service plans, incident reports, etc.) is complete and timely.</li>
<li>Lead and document emergency drills and health/safety inspections as required.</li>
<li>Monitor resident behavior and coordinate Safety Net meetings as needed.</li>
<li>Transport residents to appointments and support admissions by completing intake paperwork and database entry.</li>
<li>Provide outreach to stakeholders and represent the program in the community.</li>

Education and Experience
<ul>
<li>An advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in Social Work or a related Human Services field, experience delivering youth services, and supervisory experience;</li>
<li>OR</li>
<li>A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related Human Services field, at least two (2) years of direct service experience with a comparable population, and three (3) years of supervisory experience.</li>
<li>A valid Florida Driver’s License and safe driving record is required.</li>

Mathematical Skills and Reasoning Ability
Basic and/or advanced computational skills may be necessary.
Physical Demands 
This is a position which requires walking, interacting, monitoring and engaging youth in various positive activities and diffusing challenging situations that will occur. Little to moderate lifting of less than 25 lbs. may be required.
Work Environment

Primary Responsibilities:

<li>Ensure adherence to policies and protocols for programs serving chronically homeless individuals, including guidelines for meals, curfews, meeting attendance, client transportation to appointments, etc. </li>

<li>Ensure all participants meet the HUD requirements for entry into the program and that all required documentation is included in the client file. </li>
<li>Conduct initial service needs assessment with all clients entering the program. Develop Individual Service Plan with each participant within three days of entry into the program. </li>
<li>Work closely with Shelter Staff, Relapse Prevention Managers and Sober Housing staff to identify new program participants. </li>
<li>Maintain daily contact with clients actively involved in the program. </li>
<li>Establish and maintain regular contact schedule with all participants for a period of at least 24 months. </li>
<li>Maintain appropriate files and case notes for each participant. </li>
<li>Ensure accurate statistical data is maintained and reported monthly </li>
<li>Outreach to treatment programs and other community-based resources to establish contacts for client referral; keep detailed log of all referrals made. </li>

Position: ABA Clinical Manager/Clinical Director, BCBA (Insurance/Center-based)
Are you an experienced BCBA looking for the next step in your career? Do you want a position where you can mentor other BCBAs, develop RBTs, and ensure quality? We’re looking for a BCBA to serve in a leadership role, overseeing BCBAs, and RBTs on the island of Oahu for our Insurance/Center-based services.
<ul>
<li>Responsible for oversight and quality of school-based ABA services, including quality assurance and standardization of programs</li>
<li>Monitor implementation of clinical and operational policies</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with school contract, BACB compliance code and supervision standards</li>
<li>Conduct competency assessments, new hire training, and ongoing training for RBTs</li>
<li>Supervise a team of BCBAs, including report reviews, onsite case consults, ongoing training, and group meetings</li>
<li>Collaborate with Director of Clinical Operations and Manager of Behavioral Operations to ensure clinical quality and ethical compliance</li>
<li>Collaborate with Division Director and office director to develop growth</li>
<li>Cultivate a culture of Compassion, Excellence and Reliability for our staff and clients</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Must be a certified BCBA in good standing, 3+ years experience (Associate) or 5+ years experience (Manager)</li>
<li>Must obtain Hawai'i behavior analyst license prior to start date</li>
<li>Strong supervisory experience specific to assessment and implementation of behavior analytic programs in tiered service models</li>
<li>Demonstrated leadership skills including effective communication and solution-oriented problem-solving</li>
<li>Successful track record of working independently while taking on increased or diverse responsibilities</li>
<li>OBM specific experience a plus</li>
