BEAR Engineering provides independent, objective &amp; data driven foundation, drainage, seismic &amp; retaining wall inspections for homeowners, buyers &amp; sellers, both onsite &amp; remote.
 
Working at BEAR Engineering is a unique engineering opportunity. Our clients are a mix of people who are in the process of purchasing a home and they need an expert evaluation of the foundation &amp; drainage in a tight timeframe or homeowners who are observing troubling signs of issues and need the expert, independent &amp; objective guidance. The wide variety of construction styles and ages, combined with the variety of challenging soil conditions (hillsides, reclaimed land, expansive soils, seismic hazards) mean that you will see something new and interesting on every inspection. It is not unusual for homeowners to have past geotechnical reports, design drawings, structural calculations, and other inspection reports for their properties.
 
Combined with BEAR Engineering’s archive of reports and open source geotechnical and geological data, you will need to make on the ground observations and apply engineering judgement to determine possible causes of the client’s problem, possible safety hazards and risks, and possible solutions based on each client’s budget and priorities. It really is an interesting and unique practice of engineering judgement. You are working with limited data points and need to build a picture of what is going on through the course of the inspection. Many clients have no idea how foundations are designed or function.
 
Every house is different in some way. You get to interact with different people (both agents, homeowners, buyers &amp; sellers) daily from all walks of life that is common in the Bay Area. It’s very rewarding to know you are helping people out with one of their most valuable assets.

Compensation:
$75,000+ at plan commission
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Contact and follow-up with pre-qualified leads to assess their wants and needs in a home</li>
<li>Participate in open houses, arrange showings and show homes to potential buyers</li>
<li>Make sure buyers clients go through a seamless home purchasing process including helping buyers choose mortgage options that fit their budget</li>
<li>Coordinate efforts to negotiate property sale between buyer and seller or listing agent to achieve desired results</li>
<li>Ensure potential home buyers are well-informed about their local housing market</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Successfully close an average of 2+ sales per month during a calendar year</li>
<li>Must consistently utilize our proven systems and tools (provided by the company) to expand your business</li>
<li>Participate in weekly team meetings and check-ins with your mentor agent</li>
<li>Complete assigned training specific to the position</li>
<li>Take part in team activities and events sponsored by the company</li>
<li>Perform data entry into databases, including CRM programs, data spreadsheets, etc.</li>
<li>Follow the lead protocol as established by leadership at The Real Estate Center</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>1+ years of buyer’s agent or relevant real estate experience</li>
<li>Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and can travel by car</li>
<li>Must possess great communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred</li>
<li>Must demonstrate a consistent record of real estate success</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Current Wisconsin Real Estate License (qualified candidate may be in the process of obtaining a license)</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment</li>
<li>Personable with outstanding customer service skills that exceed expectations and keep clients not only satisfied but happy</li>
<li>Must possess outstanding listening skills!</li>
<li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with multi-tasking and creativity</li>
<li>Demonstrated proficiency with technology and understanding of Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, and use of G-Drive</li>
<li>Must be willing to work, including some weekends and evenings</li>

Responsibilities

Requirements

<li>Must be a licensed real estate agent or currently enrolled in real estate school.</li>
<li>Proven track record of successful sales in the real estate industry</li>
<li>Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills</li>

<li>Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li>
