Assisting in diagnosis:

Performs high quality non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic procedures in accordance with departmental policies, accreditation guidelines and regulatory standards to achieve positive outcomes and patient experience.

PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
\n\n \n\n

2. *Competently performs diagnostic procedures including but not limited to adult cardiac ultrasound, pediatric cardiac ultrasound, and/or vascular ultrasound in accordance with established policies and procedures.

3. *Performs quantitative calculations from data obtained and records preliminary impression where applicable.
\n\n
4. *Provides the reading physician with adequate diagnostic information necessary to generate final report; notifies physician if results require immediate attention.
\n\n
5. *Performs routine equipment maintenance and departmental maintenance including cleaning, disinfection and use of appropriate solutions.

6. *Transports patients and medical equipment within the department and facility.
\n\n
7. May cross-train to perform additional non-invasive diagnostic procedures including but not limited to electrocardiograms, long-term cardiac monitors and exercise stress testing.

8. Informs leadership of any patient, equipment or environmental safety concerns.
\n\n
9. Communicates/interfaces with facility personnel, medical staff, patients, families and outside agencies to ensure quality patient care.

14. Operates mobile ultrasound equipment in all areas of the hospital.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent clinical job training required.

Credential in at least two (2) of the following registry specialties required:
\n\n
a. Adult Cardiac Sonography: RDCS-AE (ARDMS) -or- RCS (CCI)
\n\n
b. Pediatric Cardiac Sonography: RDCS-PE (ARDMS) -or- RCCS (CCI)
\n\n
c. Vascular Technology: RVT (ARDMS) -or- RVS (CCI)
\n\n
d. Advanced Cardiac Sonography: ACS (CCI)

New graduates or sonographers training who are board eligible for at least two (2) registries may be hired into the Cardiovascular Sonographer II job role. A minimum of two (2) credentials must be obtained within 18 months of position start date.

OTHER CREDENTIALS / CERTIFICATIONS:

About Us: 
We are a national mobile independent diagnostic testing facility (IDTF) specializing in cardiovascular ultrasound, echocardiography, duplex carotid ultrasound serving patients across 35 states. Our mission is to provide high-quality diagnostic services that enhance patient care and improve outcomes. Our diagnostic exam protocols adhere to the guidelines established by the ASE (American Society of Echocardiography) and the IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission), and all exams are performed by ARDMS and/or CCI certified sonographers. 
We are seeking a qualified board-certified cardiovascular physician to serve as our supervising physician for one or more of our IDTFs. This role offers an excellent opportunity for collaboration and professional growth. The candidate for the supervising physician role must be board-certified, hold valid state medical license(s) and be credentialed with Medicare, maintaining good standing. 
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Periodically review Company’s medical services, protocols, policies, and procedures, including but not limited to oversight of: </li>
<li>The quality of testing performed; </li>
<li>Proper operation, maintenance, and calibration of equipment; and </li>
<li>Training and qualifications (credentials, licensing, etc.) of non-physician personnel. </li>
<li>Provide the Company and its technicians with medical consultation on an as needed basis. </li>
<li>Monitor technician work performance through, among other things, review of Quarterly QA activities. </li>

Qualifications:

<li>Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative setting. </li>
