Position Description
Ceribell is looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer / Senior Embedded Engineer who is passionate about biomedical applications and who has experience in the development of embedded or IoT products. The successful candidate will join the R&amp;D team and will play a key role in the development of the next generation of Ceribell's life saving technologies. Our firmware development stack is based around a STMicroelectronics STM32 ARM Cortex microcontroller and we use FreeRTOS, the IAR Embedded Workbench, and the TouchGFX framework. You must be able to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional R&amp;D team, but you must also be able to take individual ownership for development, testing, and documentation of your projects.
Ceribell is looking for a Staff Embedded Linux Software Engineer who is passionate about biomedical applications and who has experience in the development of embedded Linux-based products. The successful candidate will join the R&amp;D team and will play a key role in the development of the next generation of Ceribell's life saving technologies. What you'll achieve

What you'll need to be successful

<li>Experience with bootloaders (U-Boot, security-boot), and system startup.</li>
<li>Experience with GUI-based application development in e.g. Qt preferred.</li>

Compensation Range$175,000—$200,000 USD

Position Description
Ceribell is looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer / Senior Embedded Engineer who is passionate about biomedical applications and who has experience in the development of embedded or IoT products. The successful candidate will join the R&amp;D team and will play a key role in the development of the next generation of Ceribell's life saving technologies. Our firmware development stack is based around a STMicroelectronics STM32 ARM Cortex microcontroller and we use FreeRTOS, the IAR Embedded Workbench, and the TouchGFX framework. You must be able to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional R&amp;D team, but you must also be able to take individual ownership for development, testing, and documentation of your projects.
What you'll achieve 
<ul>
<li>Develop and test firmware features for Ceribell's EEG systems</li>
<li>Understand user needs and translate them to the development of new and improved features</li>
<li>Contribute to GUI development using frameworks such as Qt, TouchGFX, LVGL, or custom OpenGL-based stacks</li>
<li>Participate in code reviews, peer reviews, and risk management activities</li>
<li>Create and revise technical documentation</li>
<li>Provide input on firmware and hardware architecture for new and existing products</li>
</ul>
What you'll need to be successful
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, biomedical engineering or</li>
<li>related field. Graduate degree preferred</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in firmware development of a commercial product</li>
<li>Proficient in C/C++ and experienced with firmware development on ARM based systems</li>
<li>Hands-on experience developing GUIs for embedded devices using Qt, TouchGFX, LVGL, or other embedded graphics frameworks</li>
<li>Direct experience with development of WiFi connected / IoT devices preferred</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and collaborative</li>

As a member of A-TEK's technology team, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, maintaining, and enhancing large-scale infrastructure solutions that support our client's scientific and research platforms, including PubMed, GenBank, BLAST, and more. This role requires a blend of strong systems engineering expertise, DevSecOps experience, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams in a high-impact, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance computing systems and environments.</li>
<li>Lead system architecture planning and infrastructure modernization efforts to support growing biomedical data needs.</li>
<li>Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines across hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud).</li>
<li>Collaborate with bioinformatics specialists, software engineers, and data scientists to ensure infrastructure aligns with research workflows.</li>
<li>Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and capacity planning.</li>
<li>Ensure system security and compliance with NIH/NCBI standards, including vulnerability assessments and patch management.</li>

Required Qualifications:

About The Role
Job Title: Design Quality Engineer

The Design Quality Engineer requires collaboration and successful communication within a cross-functional New Product Development (NPD) team to ensure products achieve performance, safety, and business objectives. The individual in this role will use comprehensive knowledge, leadership, and analytical skills to contribute to the development of new products and modification of existing products with the assurance of high quality to meet regulatory and quality requirements, and customer expectations. This position will have a hands-on role influencing Hyperfine's emerging ideas, advanced technologies, and continually driving improvement of the design processes and products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and success in developing medical devices, as well as a working knowledge of patient-specific applications.
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Document risk management activities for new and modified products.</li>
<li>Review and contribute to process risk assessment and process validation.</li>
