SHINE Technologies is immediately seeking a Senior Plasma Research Physicist to provide scientific and technical direction for the effort to research the feasibility, design, and construction of advanced neutron generation and beam line systems. The Senior Plasma Research Physicist will leverage deep expertise in magnetic confinement plasma physics, magnetic power systems, RF heating, and diagnostics to drive the development of cutting-edge plasma sources for neutron generation and other beam applications.
 
The base salary range for this position is $80,000/year -$140,000/year plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific duties and responsibilities of the Sr. Plasma Research Physicist include, but are not limited to:

<li>Lead and manage plasma research projects, including experimental design, execution, data analysis, and reporting. This can include developing and maintaining project timelines and budgets.</li>
<li>Design, develop, and implement relevant plasma diagnostics for characterizing plasma parameters as needed for neutron production.</li>

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Minimum of five years of experience in inspection and testing of construction materials, including soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of project-related drawings, specifications, and building codes.</li>
<li>Knowledge of testing and inspection methods and industry standards such as ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, and GDOT.</li>
<li>NICET Level I and II certifications required.</li>
<li>ACI Field Grade I Certification required.</li>
<li>At least one ICC certification, such as ICC Soils, ICC Reinforced Concrete, ICC Structural Masonry, ICC Spray-Applied Fireproofing, or ICC Structural Steel and Bolting.</li>
<li>Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and report observations and test results.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with project teams and interact professionally with contractors and technicians.</li>
<li>Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Basic computer skills, including proficiency in field data collection software and Microsoft Office Suite.</li>
<li>Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for job site travel.</li>
<li>Ability to transport, operate, and maintain equipment, such as a nuclear density gauge, following safety and maintenance guidelines.</li>

Client is currently seeking hardworking laboratory and field technicians to support our growing office in Grand Junction, Colorado. This is an immediate need for local and remote projects across the Western United States. The successful candidate will provide accurate field and laboratory data critical for project completion in accordance with project plans. Construction plan reading, experience on construction sites, materials testing experience, and a strong work ethic a plus. Most work will be on aviation projects in western states, must be able to pass a background check by FAA and have valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
&gt; Assist in research, data collection, field investigations and construction observations, acquiring samples and testing of soils, concrete and asphalt at local and remote laboratories. Understanding of basic calculations and material properties. General daily report writing and correspondence with Project management.
&gt; Perform laboratory testing on soils, asphalt and concrete, including but not limited to - Modified and standard Proctors, nuclear density testing, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis, collapse, consolidation, concrete field properties and laboratory compressive strength, asphalt oil content, theoretical specific gravity, bulk specific gravity, Marshall and gyratory air voids testing.
&gt; Communicate data, issues and concepts to construction supervisor and project management and teams.
&gt; Perform routine equipment and laboratory cleaning and maintenance.
&gt; Perform routine verification of laboratory equipment as required by the QMS
