Responsibilities:

Your impact:

<li>Work with AI teams to integrate APIs into agentic software and LLM-powered tools</li>
<li>Develop and maintain RESTful APIs with proper error handling, validation, and authentication</li>
<li>Implement data retrieval functions from databases like Redshift, MySQL, and PostgreSQL</li>
<li>Deploy API updates to existing services using containerized environments (Docker, AWS)</li>
<li>Assist in troubleshooting API performance and reliability issues</li>
<li>Write clean, maintainable code with appropriate documentation</li>
<li>Participate in code reviews and follow team development standards</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions</li>

About you:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience</li>
<li>3+ years of relevant software engineering experience with APIs and backend development</li>
<li>Proficiency with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js, and Express.js framework</li>
<li>Experience with RESTful API development and integration</li>
<li>Working knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one relational database system</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud services (AWS)</li>
<li>Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving and debugging skills</li>
<li>A passion for emerging AI technologies and an understanding of the current offerings from leading AI platforms such as OpenAI</li>
