Summary/Primary Role:

Expected Hours of Work:

We are seeking a Field Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and promote safety awareness among employees and assure compliance with safety regulations and reporting. You will direct the day-to-day field operations for aerial and underground fiber construction, training and guiding field employees to keep up with daily operational needs. This position will require someone who can work independently and able to travel throughout the Longview, WA area (within a 50 mile radius).
 
**We are looking for a Field Supervisor in Mount Vernon, WA and Longview, WA - must be able to work from one of those locations (able to relocate at own cost or travel to office and surrounding areas)**

The Role
<ul>
<li>Responsible for overseeing and managing safety measures on every aerial and underground fiber construction project</li>
<li>Promotes safety awareness among employees and assures compliance with safety regulations and reporting</li>
<li>Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the “Company Values”</li>
<li>Directs the day-to-day field operations through Foremen and Subcontractors, providing necessary technical guidance and leadership</li>
<li>Trains and guides field employees to keep up with daily operational needs</li>
<li>Ensures Company tracking methods and systems are implemented to measure productivity levels, coordinate with fleet and tool management</li>
<li>Works with field employees on assigned construction projects</li>
<li>Communicates with management and team members</li>
<li>Promotes an environment of integrity and accountability and provides coaching and training to crews</li>
<li>Completes performance reviews for field employees to provide feedback and coaching</li>
<li>Other job duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of aerial and underground fiber construction preferred</li>
<li>Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (equipment management, cost control, scheduling, and safety)</li>
<li>A high school diploma, GED skills, or equivalent education certification is required (an equivalent combination of education and experience that is determined to be directly related to the position)</li>
<li>Experience supervising/dispatching construction crews</li>
<li>Basic computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications and industry relevant software</li>
<li>Requires deep knowledge of construction practices</li>
<li>Experience with machine and equipment operation with safety protocols</li>
<li>Able to perform duties in telecommunications construction such as: pole transfers, maintenance builds, new build, cable installation, over lash, and strand construction</li>
<li>Must demonstrate competency of reading and written communications skills sufficient to work safely with equipment and process requirements</li>
<li>Ability to carry, climb, operate, and work upon an extension ladder (approximately 28 feet high and 75 pounds), ability to climb poles or other structures as needed.</li>
<li>Ability to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces or elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 70% of the time, year round</li>
<li>Ability to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment and tools</li>
<li>Ability to work with a noise level from moderate to loud</li>
<li>Exposure to outdoor all-weather conditions with limited protection from weather elements, including exposure to high heat, wind and rain</li>
<li>Exposure to hazards in worksite conditions, such as proximity to equipment in operation, moving vehicles, all underground utilities, including gas and electrical current and working with excavating shoring</li>

<li>Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver’s license is required if the role involves driving</li>
