We are currently hiring a Project Manager to join us at our DFW Division.
Overall Scope
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, completion and financial outcome of a construction project. Directs and supervises work of project administration, project Superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, etc. This level is capable of medium scale projects of 5 million to 10 million and with a minimum of 5 to 10 years total experience. Typical position titles include Project Manager and Project Manager II.
Project Manager Duties Include:
· Provide initial client contact to assess scope of work, schedule and resources necessary to successfully complete a project.
· Prepare a complete estimate for selected project with a detailed review of plans, specifications and bid form.
· Plan and organize a project under the directions of a Senior Project Manager or Division Manager.
· Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policies.
· Supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project. Negotiate all change orders on the project.
· Monitor construction activities in conjunction with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure project is being built on schedule, and within budget.
· Investigate any potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines, and under supervision.
· Supervise the preparation of any and all change quotations for presentation to the prime client. Negotiate all change quotations to a conclusion.
· Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.
· Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the client.
· Review any documentation prepared by Assistant Project Manager before submission.
· Represent the company in project meetings.

<li>Establish and maintain a comprehensive document control system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of project documentation, including plans, drawings, specifications, and change orders.</li>
<li>Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to review and approve project documentation.</li>
<li>Oversee the distribution and storage of project documents, ensuring efficient retrieval and accessibility.</li>
<li>Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other trade partners.</li>
<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications and inquiries.</li>
<li>Communicate project progress, risks, and milestones to stakeholders effectively.</li>
<li>Address and resolve stakeholder concerns promptly and professionally.</li>
<li>Negotiate and manage contractual agreements with clients and subcontractors.</li>
<li>Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical construction.</li>
<li>Drive innovation and excellence within the organization by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing industry-leading solutions.</li>
<li>Provide expert advice and guidance to the organization on electrical construction methodologies and emerging technologies.</li>
<li>Attend industry conferences, workshops, and training programs to enhance industry knowledge and share insights.</li>

<li>Accountable for leading efforts in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and methodologies to improve processes and increase efficiency.</li>
<li>Participate in CECI Continuous Improvement events as needed (ex: JDI, RIE &amp; A3's).</li>
<li>Maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for compliance practices and other associated functions.</li>

What You'll Bring

<li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or a related field (or equivalent work experience).</li>
<li>8+ years of experience in electrical project management, with a focus on large-scale and complex projects.</li>
<li>Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex construction projects of varying complexity and size.</li>
<li>Ability to lead and inspire project teams, including field foremen and support staff, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and performance.</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members.</li>
<li>Skilled in negotiating and managing contractual agreements with clients and subcontractors to ensure project success.</li>
<li>Proactive in identifying potential risks and issues, developing effective mitigation strategies, and resolving stakeholder concerns promptly and professionally.</li>
