PURPOSE OF POSITION: Ensure the safety and well-being of all students and effective operation of all academy systems including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, mechanical and safety systems, furniture, and equipment within academy grounds.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following; however, other duties may be assigned:

<li>Ensures all areas of the facility, to include classrooms, desks and other furniture, office areas, hallways, and other circulation areas, outdoor sidewalks and courtyards, outdoor play areas, windows, lights, ceiling tiles, floors, mechanical areas to include air conditioning grills, and auxiliary facilities (cafeteria, area offices, labs, etc.) are scheduled for cleaning and are kept clean.</li>

<li>Performs limited maintenance of furniture and equipment. Replaces light bulbs, ceiling tiles, and other items. Checks and changes air conditioning filters as needed. Identifies the need for maintenance work orders and advises the Charter Academy Principal accordingly. </li>

<li>Completes and supervises all major facilities’ work as needed from start to end. </li>
<li>Communicates all concerns and hazards to the immediate supervisor. </li>

<li>Administers a key control system for the academy facilities. </li>
<li>The maintenance including window washing, all the heavy maintenance power washing, ground-up loan, and landscaping. </li>
<li>Coordinates fire drills and other emergency preparedness drills and completes and assures that the required documentation records are kept at the academy. </li>
<li>Completes the Plant Operator and Maintenance Checklist as scheduled. Perform tasks as outlined on the checklist and submits them to the Principal on a monthly basis for review. </li>
<li>Forecasts and communicates with the supervisor on any upcoming repairs and/or maintenance to promote a safe environment for faculty, students, and visitors. </li>
<li>Available after school hours for emergencies and unusual situations. Responds to and address any emergencies and unusual incidents during and after school hours.</li>

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum High School Diploma. Experience in school transportation services if needed. 3 -5 years of experience in area maintenance, facilities, or related field is required. Knowledge of and general ability in preventative maintenance. Experience in supervision in a culturally diverse setting.

The HCN Area Manager has the overall responsibility and accountability to provide leadership and direction for the hydrogen cyanide manufacturing unit in Memphis, TN. The HCN unit operations includes HCN production, aminonitriles production, HCN tank farm, and trade waste.
 
The position interfaces with the sodium cyanide area and other customers for coordination of production schedules and meeting customer needs. Accountable for establishing and meeting fixed cost objectives and other operations KPIs. The position has 9-10 direct reports, including the HCN Process Manager, Trade Waste Process Manager, Operations Specialist, Maintenance Coordinators, and Shift Supervisors who supervise 30-40 operators.

Technical Documentation

Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE)
<ul>
<li>Follow and enforce all HSE policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Conduct job safety analyses (JSAs) and participate in safety audits and toolbox talks.</li>
<li>Ensure all work is performed using proper Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) and permit systems.</li>

Required Qualifications &amp; Skills
<ul>
<li>Technical diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance (or equivalent experience).</li>
<li>5+ years of hands-on experience in plant maintenance or substation systems, including at least 1–2 years in a lead role.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of BOP systems including auxiliary power, protection systems, SCADA infrastructure, and plant services.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&amp;IDs, and wiring diagrams.</li>
<li>Strong leadership and team coordination skills.</li>
<li>Ability to complete all Brookfield HSSE requirements within 3 months of onboarding.</li>
<li>Substation, relay and HV experience is preferred</li>
<li>Hold a valid US Driver’s License</li>
<li>Knowledge of Windows based software including Outlook, Excel, and Word</li>
<li>Experience with related mechanical and electrical OSHA safety standards</li>
<li>Experience with Brookfield HSS&amp;E Program and Culture</li>

Job Summary:
The Laborer must have a great deal of drive, motivation, discipline, confidence, and the ability to work independently. You must be deadline-oriented with strong assessment and planning skills along with knowledge of telecommunications networks.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>All phases of telecommunication construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment. </li>
<li>Hand dig using shovel, mechanical tools. </li>
<li>Installation and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling. </li>
<li>Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery. </li>
<li>Working in congested or remote areas. </li>
<li>Maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement. </li>
<li>Perform general construction work under direction of Foreman/Supervisor.</li>
<li>Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies. </li>
<li>Learn all aspects of crew and assist the operator and foreman as assigned. </li>
<li>Setup, preparation, and cleanup of construction sites. </li>
<li>Develop an understanding of buried utilities.</li>
<li>Lift heavy equipment and supplies</li>
