Monday- Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
$23.68/HR plus $1.00/HR Shift Differential
Who we are looking for: We are currently looking for a Second Shift Warehouse Associate with a safety mindset. You will be in a distribution center stocking, counting, and moving products.
What you’ll do:
· Deliver industry leading service to our customer by being actively engaged in your area of operation
· Load and/or unload incoming and/or outgoing materials and products
· Sort &amp; move palletized and bulk materials in and out of trailers, flatbeds, containers, loading docks, and storage racks/areas
· Packing &amp; wrapping of boxed/palletized goods with a quality focus on accurate counting and auditing of material
· Identify/label materials/pallets, and track their locations in the warehouse to maintain inventory accuracy
· Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, picking, packing, and loading the items for delivery (both physically and systematically)
· Required to operate Powered Industrial Trucks including but not limited to: pallet jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, and stock chasers to move material
· Use RF scanner/computer to retrieve product codes, part numbers, product quantities, location information, etc.
· Track and log all checklists for PIT’s (Powered Industrial Trucks)
· Ensure all operating procedures, safety guidelines, and all plant rules are being followed daily
· Maintaining housekeeping and 5S standards as defined by site leadership

 Job Summary: Yard associates are expected to maintain a positive representation of Hannibal Homestore by providing an outstanding customer service experience consistent with company values. The main task of a yard associate is to assist customers and maintain a clean and efficient lumberyard. They should be willing to continually learn and expand their knowledge of the retail industry. Their job will include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers, both in person and on the phone, answering their questions, helping them find merchandise, and suggesting add-on sales that will help them complete their project. This may also include processing special orders.</li>
<li>Knowledge of point-of-sale systems in order to assist with price lookup, special orders, and order entry.</li>
<li>Create an inviting environment for customers by maintaining a clean and orderly lumberyard, which will include housekeeping tasks as needed.</li>
<li>Notify customers of upcoming promotions and new products.</li>
<li>Assist in taking regular inventory of stock.</li>
<li>Assist with loading customers vehicles. Check invoices to make sure the correct products are loaded.</li>
<li>Assist with daily upkeep and straightening of lumber stacks.</li>
<li>Help yard staff with other tasks as needed.</li>
<li>Be vigilant to identify shoplifters and other types of theft. Respond with appropriate action, according to store policy.</li>
<li>Attend all staff meetings.</li>
<li>Adhere to all store policies and safety standards.</li>

<li>Outstanding customer service skills and professional attitude.</li>
<li>A working knowledge of the products in the store with a willingness to continue to learn.</li>
<li>Organized, self-starter who thinks independently and solves problems.</li>
<li>Strong math, reading, writing, and communication skills.</li>
<li>Knowledge of effective sales methods and techniques.</li>
<li>Understand how to safely operate a forklift.</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 80lbs on a regular basis.</li>

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Store Manager, the Sales Associate guarantees a consistently high customer experience within the store utilizing Psycho Bunny’s core values and service standards.
 Your Daily Adventures

<li>You will assist with the store’s visual directives and maintain standards of housekeeping.</li>
<li>You will develop a full understanding of computer systems to ring transactions and perform other functions, such as merchandise transfers and order fulfillment.</li>
<li>You will protect store assets and inventory through awareness of loss prevention procedures and will report any violations to a supervisor.</li>
<li>You will employ an authentic approach to clienteling and building long-term relationships with customers with a focus on building sales.</li>
<li>You will build a highly satisfied and loyal customer base through engagement, conversion and capturing customer phone and e-mail.</li>
<li>You will assist with all other duties as required by store management.</li>
</ul>
