Net New Client Acquisition

Skills and Qualifications:

The Sales Director - Remote (preferably Houston, TX) will aggressively drive new business acquisition and relentlessly pursue untapped markets within their assigned territories to achieve— and exceed— sales targets. <li>Help our client and customer service teams scale with our rapid growth by improving their existing tools, like Salesforce and Zendesk, and integrating new tools, AI, and automations to support client onboarding, implementation management, customer health monitoring, renewal conversations, and more</li>
<li>Support our money movement business by partnering with our Finance and Accounting teams to automate and streamline existing accounting and reconciliation processes leveraging a variety of data sources such as Salesforce, Intacct, Snowflake, Egnyte, and more</li>
<li>Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Accounting, Finance, and other teams to identify and implement systems needs and/or process improvements</li>
<li>Drive the selection, integration, and optimization of enterprise systems and applications across the business</li>

AI &amp; Emerging Technologies
<ul>
<li>Develop PayNearMe’s enterprise AI tooling strategy to maximize business value while minimizing tooling sprawl</li>
<li>Evaluate and implement AI-powered solutions that streamline processes, improve data insights, and enhance employee productivity</li>
<li>Partner with our VP of Data Engineering to identify and implement our core AI tooling stack accounting for layers like: workflow automation, data platform, vector store, LLM access, prompt and chain frameworks, governance, monitoring, security, knowledge management, and interfaces</li>
<li>Stay ahead of industry trends to recommend and integrate emerging technologies</li>
</ul>

Team Building &amp; Management
<ul>
<li>Recruit, lead, and mentor a team of systems architects, administrators, and developers</li>
<li>Establish best practices for project management, vendor selection, and systems governance</li>
<li>Create a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement</li>

Change Management &amp; Enablement
<ul>
<li>Develop change management strategies to drive adoption of new tools and processes</li>
<li>Build training and communication plans to maximize user engagement and minimize disruption</li>
<li>Optimize end-to-end workflows, ensuring seamless integrations between applications</li>

Data &amp; Analytics Alignment
<ul>
<li>Build systems that improve real-time visibility into key business metrics at various levels of the organization combining inputs from multiple tools and databases</li>
<li>Partner closely with Data &amp; operations leadership to ensure systems feed high-quality, standardized data</li>

Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience</li>
<li>10+ years of technical program management experience, leading complex technology projects and programs</li>
<li>5+ years of people management experience leading teams to deliver technical programs or products from inception to delivery</li>
<li>Proven experience identifying and addressing systemic inefficiencies and scaling technical programs</li>
<li>Experience building, growing, and leading a technical program management organization</li>
<li>Expertise with Agile and Scrum frameworks and the application in product development and delivery</li>
<li>Fluency with the Atlassian ecosystem; Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Advanced roadmaps, and Atlas</li>
<li>&nbsp;Strong communication and executive presence; able to influence across all levels</li>
<li>Proven interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a cross-functional team</li>
<li>Ability to influence across virtual teams and disparate stakeholder groups</li>
<li>Strategic, organizational thinker with a track record of strengthening program governance and controls within an organization</li>
