Boston Mountain Rural Health Center, Inc. (BMRHC) is now accepting applications for a full-time Medical Receptionist-Float at our clinic located in Huntsville, Arkansas. The Medical Receptionist works as a member of the clinical office team, collecting current data from the patient and accurately inputting it into the electronic health record. The Medical Receptionist also assists patients with scheduling, inquiries, referrals, and other duties deemed necessary to serve the centers patients. Must be detail-oriented with good interpersonal and customer service skills. Our office hours are 7:45 am to 5:15 pm Monday through Thursday and 7:45 am to 11:45 am on Friday. Some travel is required for this position.
 
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent. Medical office experience is preferred but not required.

Job TypeFull-time &nbsp;DescriptionJob Purpose The Patient Advocate will complete Medical Assistance Applications on patients who may potentially qualify for benefits under the MA Program or other entitlement programs. Obtain all necessary documents required by the County Assistance Office to determine eligibility.

<li>Complete the Medical Assistance Application, screen for disability and complete the hospital charity care form with patient/family member or guardian.</li>
<li>Update computer system daily</li>
<li>Medical Assistance production reports completed daily</li>
<li>1663’s must be taken to appropriate physician within 24 hours of completing the application</li>
<li>Secure all releases, waivers and questionnaires needed</li>
<li>Leave each patient with a pending document’s check list and follow up daily while patient is still in-house (if applicable).</li>
<li>All necessary verification should be faxed for within the first 24-48 hours of completing the MA application</li>
