Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in psychiatric mental health.</li>
<li>BC as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and licensed to practice in the state of North Dakota.</li>
<li>Previous experience in psychiatric care is preferred but not always required. New graduates may be considered.</li>

Med-Peds Hospitalist opening in MinnesotaLocated in Mankato, MN80 miles from Minneapolis, MNFULL TIMEResponsibilitiesAdult Hospitalist Duties/requirements:
<ul>
<li>Options for days only and Nocturnist only</li>
<li>12-15 patients on average </li>
<li>Closed ICU</li>
<li>141 adult acute beds (this does not include BH or OB or SCN beds)</li>
Pediatric Hospitalist Duties/Requirements:
<li>Work both independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team to assess, diagnose, manage, and evaluate the health care needs of neonates, infants, and children</li>
<li>Care for patients affected by prematurity, respiratory distress, infectious diseases, congenital heart disease, and/or other anomalies</li>
<li>Clinical responsibilities include attendance at deliveries (including high-risk), resuscitation of newborns, care of healthy newborns, day-to-day management of babies in the Level II Nursery, and care of hospitalized children</li>
<li>Procedures performed include circumcisions, umbilical central lines, lumbar punctures, frenulectomies, intubations, and emergent needle decompression of pneumothorax</li>
Collaborative/Supportive Partnerships:
<li>The Mankato pediatric inpatient team is composed of pediatric hospitalists and advanced practice providers (APPs)</li>
<li>The APPs assist with care of normal newborns</li>
<li>Pediatric subspecialists in Rochester provide a ready source of support and consultation</li>
<li>Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant support</li>
<li>Dedicated Social Work support and Lactation Consultant support</li>
<li>The Electronic Delivery Room platform (eDR) provides immediate electronic connectivity to Rochester neonatologists 24/7 via remote video guidance</li>
<li>This position is solely inpatient. Hospitalists stay in-house</li>
Qualifications
<li>Must have M.D., D.O., or foreign degree equivalent</li>
<li>Must be eligible for Minnesota medical license </li>
<li>Must be Board Certification/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics or in final year of ACGME accredited program leading to certification</li>
