Job Summary:
WMCHealth Network is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to be based primarily at Westchester Medical Center as an academic clinical or translational investigator. This position will play a key role in the ongoing growth and development of the oncology research enterprise in the WMCHealth Network. The incumbent will join a collegial team of exceptional providers in an established Hematology and Oncology practice as part of our CoC-accredited cancer program and provide subspecialized care for patients in their area of expertise. In particular, there are opportunities in bone marrow transplant, myeloma, GU, H&amp;N, breast, and GI. The position reports to the Section Chief of Hematology &amp; Medical Oncology.
Qualifications / Requirements:
In addition to board certification or eligibility, the candidate must be able to obtain a New York State medical license. Salary and appointment commensurate with background and experience.

Aspects of the Family Medicine with Obstetrics physician role:

<li>Team based approach. Join three Family-OB physicians who deliver at a community hospital just one block away from the Edmonds clinic, with friendly OB back up. Averaging 6-10 deliveries per month for the group, with numbers increasing. Robust administrative support to build and grow the practice. FP-OB providers first assist on C-sections. Each provider is part of a subset or pod of the larger primary care team. Each pod has 2-3 physicians, 1 ARNP or PA, 1 RN and 1 to 1 MA support. The ARNP or PA helps support messages and indirect care and there is built in coverage when the provider is out of the office. Pods are able to adapt and make changes quickly that fit their team needs.&nbsp;</li>
