<li>Stay current with advancements in radiation therapy techniques, equipment, and safety measures; participate in evaluations and implementation of new methods.</li>
<li>Maintain exceptional patient relations, demonstrating respect for all patients, families, and visitors. Serve as a patient advocate when needed, particularly in cases involving limited ability to communicate or understand care needs.</li>
<li>Assist in cost control efforts, including monitoring supply usage and supporting preventative maintenance programs for therapy equipment.</li>
</ol>
Minimum Qualifications Education:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiology Program with a completed course in radiation therapy, or</li>
<li>Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program and must be registry eligible.</li>
<li>ARRT certification required within 1 year of hire or transfer.</li>
</ul>
Experience:
<ul>
<li>Prior experience in Radiation Therapy preferred.</li>
</ul>
Licensure/Certification:
<ul>
<li>ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required (or must be obtained within one year of hire).</li>
</ul>
