Job Summary
Shades of Light has a full-time opening available for a Team Leadin our Midlothian Distribution Center. We welcome you to come join our dedicated team of fulfillment professionals!
Assist in receiving-related processes and help receiving team members accomplish tasks that will optimize flow and ensure efficiency and accuracy
 
Job Requirements/Expectations:
<ul>
<li>Be an example to all team members</li>
<li>Direct team members as needed to maintain efficient flow</li>
<li>Train new hires, provide supplemental training to seasoned team members, and actively report on progress as directed by manager</li>
<li>Promptly communicate all potential service failures to receiving manager or shift supervisor</li>
<li>Anticipate and communicate all employee grievances to receiving manager or shift supervisor</li>
<li>Work with management to implement solutions and improvements to ensure quality, safety, and operating efficiency</li>
<li>Direct team in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment</li>
<li>Process daily inventory updates </li>
<li>Provide daily department status reports</li>
<li>Assist in frontline job functions as needed to maintain efficient workflow</li>
<li>Clock a minimum of 40 hours per week and work overtime as needed</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>5+ years of warehouse experience</li>
<li>2+ years in lead or manager position</li>
<li>Team player</li>
<li>Attention to detail</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Effective leadership skills and robust work ethic</li>
<li>Basic computer skills</li>
<li>Ability to effectively prioritize and remain focused in a fast paced, growing work environment</li>
<li>Ability to assertively and professionally present company needs to management</li>
<li>Previous leadership experience is a plus</li>
</ul>
