Job Summary and Qualifications
At Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, our OB Antepartum Unit is a brand new state-of-the-art facility consisting of 21 private OB / Antepartum rooms supported by a team of physicians, maternal fetal medicine specialists, nurses, educators, Perinatal Navigator, Clinical Support Coordinators, and social workers to guide patients through their OB/antepartum, post-partum, or GYN surgical stay. The primary patient population is Antepartum, where pregnant patients stay for a period of days to months when they are too sick to go home but not yet ready to deliver. These patients rely on the skills of the team that partners with the Labor &amp; Delivery unit if a higher level of care is needed. In addition, post partum patients who have a baby that needs NICU care are placed here. The "NICU Moms" often provide excellent feedback about the care and compassion the OB Antepartum team provides during a stressful time. A smaller portion of the patient population is GYN Surgical. These are primarily women in the post operative period who have had a hysterectomy, D&amp;C, bladder surgery and some plastics.
In addition to the OB Antepartum unit, The Women’s Hospital at Forest includes a 16 bed LDR with 3 OR suites, a level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and a 35 bed Mother Baby unit. We provide 24/7 coverage with OB Hospitalist, MFM specialist, CNM, Anesthesiologist and Neonatologist for all pregnancies, births and neonates, high or low risk.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of the Residence Program Specialist will include but are not limited to the following:

Essential Job Functions: The Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation Primer, RN assists physicians in the management and operation of the ECMO machine. Scope of Service may include:
1. Develops treatment plan involving:

2. Monitors and adjusts ECMO circuit settings, (e.g. heat exchanger temperature, pump flow, sweep gas) to maintain parameters established by the ECMO physician.

4. Builds and primes circuit for ECMO, which includes components as specified by the ECMO&nbsp;physician.
5. Monitors equipment closely during procedure for any changes in patient’s condition and informs physician immediately.

7. Serves as resource to bedside nurse on ECMO physiology, pump function, and troubleshooting
8. Correlates and records data obtained during the procedure.

HSL offers enhanced housing with services to seniors residing in its three affordable housing locations and at partner housing sites, aiming to improve the quality of life and support independent living. &nbsp;At its core, enhanced housing with services is a proactive approach wherein resident services staff regularly and actively reach out to each resident to engage with them around their health and wellness, identify areas of need/risk, and provide intensive, individualized case management and support as needed and desired by the resident.
The Nurse Care Manager is a key member of the housing team, working to support residents in living independently and safely for as long as possible by developing meaningful relationships with them and providing holistic support.&nbsp; The Care Manager works closely with other team members to: &nbsp;engage residents in wellness assessments and health education programs, connect residents to needed services, triage resident issues, provide a wide variety of case management tasks including coordinating care for residents returning home from hospital and/or rehab stays, ensure that all interventions are documented and tracked, and partner with community provider organizations.&nbsp;

Sinai-Grace operates more than 21 outpatient care sites and ambulatory surgery centers throughout Wayne and Oakland Counties and is one of 10 hospitals in the nation to be awarded a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation grant to help set the standards of cardiac care for hospitals and physicians throughout the nation. Job Summary The Communication Specialist will staff the Communication Center in the emergency department at Detroit Receiving Hospital The Communication Center is located in the emergency department at Detroit Receiving Hospital. The Communication Center will function to centralize and streamline communication between DMC hospital sites and the surrounding area. The Communication Center will house all outside communication equipment utilized to receive notification of critical patient transports, disasters, or mass casualty events.
