International Health and Medical Services is looking for an experienced Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health disorders among patients, ensuring they receive appropriate psychiatric care and support. This role includes collaborating with the healthcare team to implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and provide crisis intervention as needed, fostering mental health and well-being.&nbsp;
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Provides direct psychiatric care to patients via onsite and telepsychiatry services for scheduled appointments, emergency, or urgent care visit.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Consults with the Psychiatrist and/or Clinical Director for complex psychiatric patients and as required by client policy.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Provides care including admission, discharge, and daily rounds for patients that require higher levels of psychiatric care or monitoring.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Works within and performs functions as outlined in the client Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider Collaborative Practice and Prescriptive Authority Agreement and the client formulary.&nbsp;</li>

But here’s a known family secret, being part of one, does take effort – it’s all about what you do (your responsibilities/contributions) and how you do it (your behaviors/superpowers) -- so here are some of the things you can expect to experience as you build your FAN club in this house.
 
There will be challenges:
<ul>
<li>Just like families, disabilities come in different types. You will see many of them along with the mental health challenges in the Individuals (aka the Program participants) that we serve. You will also learn about the different agencies and resources we work with to help you provide support directly, or indirectly, to the Individuals. </li>
</ul>
 
There will be chores: 
<ul>
<li>Your work will directly improve the quality of life for the Individuals you support. You will learn techniques to help them have positive interactions with others and reach their goals. You will assist Individuals with their personal needs (e.g., hygiene matters like baths/showers, changing clothes/adult briefs, teeth brushing, medication reminders, etc.) and with social needs (e.g., prepare meals, clean, and engage with them through exercise/movement, games and/or transporting them in your, or company, vehicle to community activities, etc.).</li>
<li>You will also keep accurate progress notes and proactively communicate information with your team about the Individuals’ needs – taking care of them like you would with your own family.</li>
</ul>
There will be chats, C.A.R.E., &amp; cheers: 
<ul>
<li>You will participate in all required training, team, and company meetings to build your knowledge, skills, and abilities to grow in the family. We like to promote from within our own house!</li>
<li>You will take ownership of your own behaviors, and help coach others over time, in how to effectively demonstrate the company’s C.A.R.E. values (compassion, adaptability, respect, and empowerment).</li>
<li>You will receive ongoing coaching and performance feedback and be recognized for your personal and team contributions in addition to demonstrating the C.A.R.E. values.</li>
</ul>
 
Related experience in the following fields a plus: Assisted Living, Behavior Aide, Caregiver, Certified Nursing Assistants, CNAs, Developmentally Disabled, DD, Job Coach, Direct Support Professional, DSP, Child Care, Elderly Care, Senior Care, Hospice Care, ILS, LVN, Autism, Special Education, Special Needs, ILS, SLS, Housekeeper, Driver, Cleaner, Home Health Aides (HHAs), Residential Care Facility Staff, In-home support, Med Tech, Personal Care Attendant, Day Program Staff or Adult Day Program.
