Cardiac Care (3 North) is a 32-Bed unit designed for patients who require close cardiac telemetry monitoring. The patient populations in our community that we serve are before and after a variety of cardiac procedures (cardiac catheterization, pacemaker placement/upgrade, AICD placement, ablations, and Watchman procedures), congestive heart failure and cardiac arrhythmias. Cardiac Care nurses are specially trained to interpret EKGs, vital signs, and maintain antiarrhythmic drips to provide immediate cardiac interventions and medical care. Our fast-paced unit takes pride in providing excellent patient care through collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team and unit comradery!
