What you'll likely work on:

Job Summary:
The official job title is Lead Care Manager (LCM). 
The Lead Care Manager (LCM) role involves developing personalized care plans, coordinating member services, and collaborating closely with members and families, as well as Primary Care Providers to ensure they receive necessary medical treatment and support. DEPARTMENT SYNOPSIS:
The Baltimore Region Services department responds to the needs of Latinos, immigrants, and working class families, utilizing service provision models that promote building the power of the immigrant community and working class families at large. This includes community education, case management and services to address health disparities, build on community interest and assets, and work to impact trends that negatively affect Latinos, immigrants, and working class families. The Baltimore Region service department includes Health and Emergency Social Services, Legal, Immigrant Integration Programs, after school programing, vocational training, day labor center, English classes and citizenship classes, amongst a few. Community members can also join CASA in becoming involved in community organizing and advocacy opportunities.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Community Health/Emergency Social Services Worker (CHW) is tasked with providing a wide variety of education, and service navigation assistance for CASA members in response to needs arising from emergency situations like the COVID-19 pandemic. The CHW will be expected to work in the Health and Social Services Program at CASA on a variety of projects designed to combat the spread of COVID-19 in the immigrant community of Baltimore, while providing much needed service navigation and case management in emergency programing such as eviction prevention, and health enrollment. Specifically, the CHW will work alongside a team of Health Promoters to implement a culturally proficient vaccine education project that will include recruiting, enrolling and screening community members to receive their vaccinations at CASA vaccination clinics. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are hiring a Healthcare Specialist for our growing team!&nbsp; The Healthcare Specialist will primarily be responsible for client care, transport, client activities, working with medical personnel and client orientation with admissions.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Take vitals on clients daily</li>
<li>Maintain confidentiality and comply with company, state, federal and HIPPA rules and regulations</li>
<li>Charting for insurance purposes</li>
<li>Supervise residents for extended time periods</li>
<li>Monitor resident's activities, groups, chore lists, weekly phone calls, etc.</li>
<li>Maintain a safe environment&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintain a positive, professional attitude toward residents, staff, and volunteers</li>
<li>Handle crisis situations in a calm supportive manner</li>
<li>Transport clients to various appointments</li>
<li>Complete drug screening</li>
<li>Acts as a liaison to all areas of persons served/client care; medical staff, admission staff, nursing staff and clinical staff.</li>
<li>Directly assists and supports medical, admission, nursing and clinical staff ensuring a seamless transition for persons served/clients to and from detox.</li>
<li>Work with the Nurse Practitioner to ensure the health and safety of the residents.</li>
<li>Administering Medication to clients as directed</li>
<li>Performs follow-ups to persons served/client referral sources as directed by the supervisor.</li>
<li>Demonstrates punctuality, organization, and proficiency in all areas of scheduling, filing, meetings, presentation and persons served/client relations.</li>
<li>Orientate the persons served/client on admission.</li>
<li>Ensures persons served/client confidentiality in compliance with 42CFR, Part 2.</li>

<li>Ability to determine if a medical emergency exists and to take appropriate action, when necessary.</li>
<li>Knowledge of emergency procedures used in case of alcohol and/or drug overdose.</li>
<li>Knowledge of the stages of alcohol and other drug withdrawals and ability to take appropriate action at each stage.</li>
<li>Demonstrates initiative, personal responsibility, and ownership of work to meet monthly, quarterly and annual goals in both written and verbal formats.</li>

POSITION PURPOSE:
The Administrative &amp; Executive Support Coordinator provides dual support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the Chief Operating Officer (COO). This hybrid role combines office operations, facilities support, administrative coordination, and executive-level scheduling and event preparation. The role ensures operational efficiency across Finance &amp; Administration while delivering high-level administrative and organizational support to the COO. This position requires exceptional professionalism, confidentiality, communication, and the ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
LOCATION &amp; SCHEDULE:

<li>This position currently involves a hybrid working model with 1 day remote, and 4 days in-office in Detroit, MI.</li>

WHAT WE REQUIRE:

Executive Administrative Support (COO):

<li>Support administrative procedures across Finance &amp; Administration and the COO’s office.</li>

Event Coordination:

<li>Coordinate events and executive engagements assigned by the CFO or COO, including logistics, timelines, and materials.</li>
<li>Prepare presentations, slide decks, briefing materials, agendas, and supporting documents.</li>
<li>Manage event invitations, RSVP tracking, attendee lists, and communication logistics.</li>
<li>Assist with on-site event execution for internal and external events involving executive leadership.</li>
<li>Ensure all event materials meet Visit Detroit’s brand, quality, and accuracy standards.</li>
