Here is What You Will Be Doing:

<li>Triages patients to determine if medical exams are needed after a forensic exam. </li>
<li>Coordinates a team-based care strategy incorporating all agencies involved in assisting the victim and coordinate referrals for appropriate medical and psychological follow-up as needed for each patient. </li>
<li>Performs a complete physical and forensic evidence collection examination including Head-to-Toe assessment for trauma, detailed genital examination, forensic specimen collection and documentation, including photography, and assess for mandatory reporting status, reporting when appropriate. </li>
<li>Performs and documents sexual assault and forensic interview accurately and in accordance with the Forensic Nursing Program requirements. </li>
<li>Supports and participates in legal proceedings as needed. </li>
<li>Participates in quality assurance projects, community education, peer review and maintain medication test annually. </li>
<li>Debriefs as needed to maintain staff emotional and physical wellness. </li>
<li>Performs all forensic duties in compliance with Forensic Nursing Program protocols and regulations. </li>

Come grow with us!  The Oklahoma Forensic Center (OFC) located in Vinita, OK is a 24 hour/365 day secure inpatient forensic facility that provides jail competency services for the State of Oklahoma.  Currently, OFC has 268 beds for consumers who have been found Incompetent for adjudication or adjudicated as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity.  OFC is expanding with new construction scheduled to be completed in the Fall of 2025 adding an additional 84 beds.  When completed, OFC will have a total of 352 beds to house consumers.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
About the Position:&nbsp;
Here at the Oklahoma Forensic Center the Nursing department is hiring for Licensed Practical Nurses that would provide direct care for consumers of behavioral health treatment in an inpatient setting under the supervision or direction of a registered nurse or licensed physician. This may include participating in the evaluation of responses to interventions, taking temperatures, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, assessing, reporting and recording health status of consumers, developing and implementing appropriate aspects of a plan of care, administer medications as ordered, report appropriate consumer information to supervisor or appropriate health team member and serves as a charge nurse on the unit.&nbsp;

CASES is seeking a compassionate and culturally competent Reentry/Forensic Mental Health Therapist to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based care to adults impacted by the criminal legal system. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the Therapist conducts assessments, develops recovery-focused treatment plans, and provides individual, family, and group therapy. This role emphasizes integrated, person-centered care and collaboration with both clinical and justice system partners. 
Working within a multidisciplinary team and co-located program structure, the Therapist conducts clinical assessments using evidence-based tools, develops collaborative treatment plans, and delivers individual, family, and group therapy. They coordinate with internal and external partners—including psychiatrists, case managers, peer specialists, and justice system personnel—to ensure integrated, person-centered care. 
The position is based within CASES’ Nathaniel Clinic, which operates two outpatient mental health programs a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) located in Central Harlem and a Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitative Service (MHOTRS) Program located in the South Bronx; serving clients with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and complex psychosocial needs. 
This is an ideal opportunity for a licensed clinician passionate about mental health equity and committed to supporting individuals impacted by incarceration in achieving long-term stability and wellness. 
Shift Hours: This position is full-time Monday – Friday; shifts include 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 10 to 6pm. 
Salary: The salary range for the role is $65,000 - $70,000 per year

What You Will Be Doing:  
<ul>
<li>Providing culturally competent clinical services personalized to client needs and reflecting the integration of race, ethnicity, culture, primary language, immigration status, developmental status, criminal justice status, sexuality, age, and gender.</li>
<li>Providing clinical services that are in accordance with the scope of practice and regulations governing mental health outpatient treatment and recovery services.</li>
<li>Conduct screenings and assessments in accordance with evidence-based screening tools for depression, trauma, substance use, and risk and needs associated with criminogenic risk. </li>
<li>Use sequential evidence screening for risk of violence including suicide and utilize risk management protocols to appropriately manage and intervene.</li>
<li>Develop person/family-centered, recovery-oriented treatment plans and review in collaboration with client, collaterals, and consented stakeholders such as significant others, criminal justice personnel, primary care health provider, care coordinator, and schools.</li>
<li>Conduct individual, family, group therapy as clinically indicated.</li>
<li>Coordinate with CASES psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, nursing staff, peers, case managers, and administrative staff.</li>
<li>Provide crisis intervention services as deemed appropriate and participate in the 24-hour emergency phone coverage on a rotating basis.</li>
<li>The position is co-located with other programs, fostering collaboration and integrated service delivery across teams. </li>
<li>Help ensure we maintain a safe working environment by reporting any hazards or unsafe conditions, e.g., liquid spill in hallway, to the appropriate facilities staff member or supervisor. </li>
</ul>
What We Are Looking For:  
<ul>
<li>Current New York State LCSW/LMSW/LMHC.</li>
<li>Strong passion to work with those impacted by the criminal legal system. </li>
<li>2-5 years of experience in a clinic setting or at least two years of work experience at a licensed mental health or substance use program.</li>
<li>Demonstrated expertise in cultural competence, recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, evidence-based practice.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience with diverse adults receiving mental health treatment, including delivery of treatment to individuals with serious mental illness, functional impairments and psychosocial needs (homelessness, justice involvement, poverty, unemployment).</li>
<li>Must feel comfortable with developing a group curriculum and facilitating or co-facilitating group psychotherapy.</li>
<li>Therapist certification will be expected within three months of employment to receive the Integrated Mental Health/Addictions Treatment Training Certificate (IMHATT).</li>
