Key Responsibilities

<li>Conduct pregnancy tests, female health screenings, and STI testing and treatment</li>
<li>Provide early prenatal care and lead Centering groups (if certified)</li>
<li>Educate patients on contraception, pregnancy loss, healthy pregnancy, and nutrition</li>
<li>Perform and/or learn limited obstetric ultrasound</li>
<li>Rotate across clinics and mobile units, with occasional weekend outreach events</li>

 About the Position: We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide both in-clinic and on-call care at our birth center. While birth center experience is strongly preferred, we welcome all candidates with solid midwifery experience. A moving allowance will be provided for CNMs from out of state. Qualifications:

<li>Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.</li>
<li>Approval to practice as a Certified Nurse Midwife in North Carolina.</li>
<li>Minimum of three years of clinical experience in prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care.</li>
<li>Birth center experience is highly desirable.</li>
<li>Current CPR and NRP certification.</li>

Description
RN – Labor and Delivery at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This posting represents a .9 FTE, night shift openings (7pm-7:30am, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends.
Extra Incentives:

<li>Evening shift differential – $ 3.00 p/hr</li>
<li>Night shift differential – $10.00 p/hr</li>
<li>$8,000 hiring bonus offered for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.</li>

Required Qualifications:
