The Medical Assistant is responsible for supporting the practice with overall responsibility for maintaining efficiency of patient flow. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
1) 2 years experience as a Lab Technician or related position, required.
2) 1-2 years experience in phlebotomy, required.
3) Proven experience in operating electrical and nonelectrical laboratory equipment, including potentially dangerous substances (such as flammable liquids and biohazardous materials).
4) In-depth knowledge in preventative precautions and laboratory best practices.
5) Excellent physical condition and endurance.
6) Able to work comfortably independently or in a team.
