Job Summary: 
The Toolmaker A will be responsible for the fabrication, maintenance, repair, and modification of tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures used in manufacturing processes. 
We are seeking a 2nd Shift Tool Maker to join our team at Ideal Tridon Group! 
 
Shift: 2nd 3:00pm-11:00pm
 
Schedule: Monday-Friday
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Fabricates, maintains, repairs, and modifies various types of tooling, including molds, dies, jigs, and fixtures, to support production needs. </li>
<li>Sets up and operates manual and CNC machine tools, such as lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM machines, to perform machining operations on tooling components. </li>
<li>Conducts precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications. </li>
<li>Performs preventive maintenance tasks on tooling to ensure optimal performance and longevity. </li>
<li>Troubleshoots and diagnoses issues with tooling and implements corrective actions to resolve problems and minimize downtime. </li>
<li>Maintains accurate documentation of tooling maintenance, repair, and modification activities. </li>
<li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li>
</ul>
Required Skills and Abilities: 
<ul>
<li>Proficiency in the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of various types of tooling, including molds, dies, jigs, and fixtures. </li>
<li>Experience in setting up and operating manual and CNC machine tools, such as lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM machines. </li>
<li>Precision measurement skills and ability to use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments. </li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues with tooling. </li>
<li>Effective communication skills. </li>
<li>Attention to detail and ability to work with high precision and accuracy. </li>
<li>Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing environment. </li>
<li>Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet production schedules. </li>
<li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and specifications. </li>

Education and Experince: 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent education and experience required. </li>
<li>Three years of experience in toolmaking, including fabrication, maintenance, and repair of tooling components required. </li>
<li>Well-rounded experience in metal stamping, training in the machine shop, and Toolroom practices (functions usually acquired through a formal Toolmaker apprenticeship or a minimum of 4 to 6 years equivalent Toolroom training or on-the-job experience in a metal stamping Toolroom environment with a formal machine shop or previous machine tool education.</li>

<li>Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and/or sitting and reaching with hands and arms. </li>

Key Responsibilities:
A minimum of one year of home health experience is preferred, along with a proven ability to manage a fast-paced, independent work schedule. Knowledge of Homecare Homebase software is a plus!

<li>Performs ongoing clinical assessment, including OASIS assessments, at appropriate time points to identify patient needs, determine level of functioning, and appropriateness of patient for home care.</li>
<li>Develops and evaluates the plan of care in partnership with the patient, representative (if any), and caregiver(s).</li>
<li>Documents, prepares, and completes clinical notes, phone orders, and other clinical record documentation on an ongoing basis and in a timely manner. Revises the POC based on evaluation and ongoing assessment data.</li>
<li>Provides services that are ordered by the physician as indicated in the plan of care; oversees other team members, when applicable, in the performance of patient care that is consistent with patients’ needs.</li>
<li>Applies concepts of infection control and standard precautions in coordinating or performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease.</li>
<li>Accepts clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients.</li>
<li>Provides supervision and guidance to physical therapy assistants and home health aides, as appropriate.</li>
