SCOPE OF POSITION: The Store Clerk is responsible for handling cash, making change, operating cash registers and charge card machines while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. May assist with marking and moving merchandise in the day-to-day operations of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

<li>Inventory Management: Order merchandise from our warehouse or suppliers based on inventory levels and customer demand. Check product levels, expiration dates, and rotate stock. Occasionally conduct physical inventories.</li>
<li>Customer Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service at the checkout counter, assisting customers with their product selections and processing payments via cash, SNAP, or WIC cards.</li>
<li>Stocking &amp; Merchandising: Unpack, stock, and organize shelves, racks, and bins with new merchandise to ensure a well-stocked and visually appealing store.</li>
<li>Store Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness by routinely cleaning counters, shelves, floors, and bathrooms to ensure a safe and welcoming shopping environment.</li>
<li>Team Support: Assist the store manager and other team members with any other duties or tasks needed to ensure the smooth operation of the store.</li>

Qualifications:
