<li>Perform physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret labs, prescribe medication, provide patient education, and appropriately document all relevant information in EMR.</li>
<li>Perform examinations for workers’ comp, occupational medicine, DOT, sports, wellness, and pre-employment screenings</li>
<li>Provide flexible and adaptive care so as to not have to turn away patients before exhausting reasonable treatment options.</li>
<li>Excellent communicator to both patients and staff.</li>
<li>Work autonomously as a provider and work alongside nurses, x-ray technicians, and front office specialists to provide the best possible patient care.</li>
<li>Provide leadership, direction, and assistance to team members as needed. Monitors completion of staff’s daily follow-up calls to monitor patient progress.</li>

What We Offer:
Work Life Balance and Flexible Schedule: Our clinics are open Monday – Friday 7AM to 7PM, Saturdays 8AM to 6PM, and Sundays from 1PM to 5PM. All schedules typically come out a month in advance so you will know what shifts are available then! PRNs are required to just cover a minimum of 2 shifts a month. Part time employees work at least 24 hours a week.

Services include adult and child psychiatric, substance abuse, case management, residential, Crisis Care, and therapy programs, as well as career development and wellness services. Zepf Center also offers primary care medical services to our patients to contribute to their continuum of care. Zepf Center is a trauma-informed agency and environment for both patients and staff.

General Summary:
<ul>
<li>The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care services as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) within the integrated healthcare setting of Zepf Center. The FNP will deliver advanced nursing and clinical services, including health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for a diverse patient population across the lifespan.</li>
<li>The FNP will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote wellness, prevent illness, manage chronic conditions, and ensure continuity of care. Responsibilities include providing advocacy for patients, coordinating referrals to specialty providers, managing physical health symptoms, prescribing and evaluating medications, and delivering high-quality clinical and nursing services in alignment with organizational goals and patient care standards.</li>

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Practices in accordance with the Standard Care Arrangement and maintains all required licensure and continuing education necessary for Advanced Practice Nursing (APN) in the State of Ohio.</li>
<li>Collaborates with the designated Collaborating Physician, as required by Ohio State Law and the Standard Care Arrangement, to discuss and resolve treatment-related concerns.</li>
<li>Conducts medical evaluations, including physical examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for clients; monitors the effectiveness of interventions and adjusts care as needed.</li>
<li>Prescribes and manages medications in accordance with the scope of practice for APNs and the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 4723-9; monitors for efficacy, side effects, and patient adherence.</li>

<li>Facilitates hospital admissions when clinically indicated and provides consultation regarding hospitalization for Zepf clients as needed.</li>
