Certified nurse midwife (CNM) is responsible for working closely with both gynecologic and obstetric patients, assisting in births, and providing health care to women post-pregnancy. The CNM will assist with prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, and may also provide reproductive care, treatment, and education to female patients.

Susquehanna OB/GYN and Nurse Midwifery is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife with solid GYN experience and antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum experience that includes patients with varying medical conditions (diabetes, hypertension, etc.). Job Responsibilities:

Womens Health, Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) | Texas Medical School

<h3>Job Description</h3>
Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 650+ provider multispecialty group practice that is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) who is committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care and willing to support an established obstetrics &amp; gynecologic practice as part of a growing womens health program within a multi-specialty medical group framework.
Primary responsibilities include general midwifery management of the womens health services patients in collaboration with the clinics Obstetrics &amp; Gynecology (OB-GYN) physicians. This involves direct management of the patient including, but not limited to prenatal, postnatal, and general birthing activities, as well as OB/Gyn exams, procedures and services. These will include routine obstetrical checks, annual and routine pelvic and abdominal exams, Pap tests, cervical cancer screenings, well-woman visits, same day sick, et al.
This Midwifery group also provides care for our International Maternity Care (Refugee group) which involves trauma informed care.
The schedule for this full-time opportunity is a traditional clinic work week, with no less than 24 hours of scheduled patient contact time in the outpatient clinic, plus one 24-hour shift in the Family Maternity Center per week.
All Women's Health providers share phone triage after-hours via an answering service. Shared call pool among other CNMs. Saint Alphonsus has 12 LDR maternity beds, post-partum suites and a nursery and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit for critically ill infants.
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Current, unrestricted Certified Nurse Midwife medical license in Idaho; valid controlled substance registration with Idaho; Board of Pharmacy and DEA.</li>
<li>Experience in high-risk obstetrics/trauma informed care preferred.</li>
<li>A strong medical background and a desire to develop a practice to support a growing multi-specialty medical group.&nbsp;In providing this support, you will obtain Idaho medical licensure to maintain and strengthen the Health System's general internal program across all communities we serve.&nbsp;</li>
