<li>Maintains an effective internal control framework for all activities performed by the Corporate Accounting team.</li>
<li>Coordinates the preparation and filing of unclaimed property reports, property tax payments and appeals, working directly with external advisers and other divisions.</li>
<li>Coordinates the preparation and review of monthly financial statements for multiple companies in accordance with GAAP for senior leadership. The BronxWorks Homeless Outreach Team (HOT) is a mobile unit that works with homeless individuals on the streets, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Since 1995, we have helped street homeless people obtain appropriate services, move to safer environments, and get placed in permanent or long-term transitional housing. The team is composed of outreach workers, case managers and social workers and also partners with psychiatric and medical providers to connect clients to appropriate care.
RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Supervise team of 5 staff (2 Case Managers/3 Outreach Workers) and coordinate team activities focused but not limited to homeless individuals engaged at Lincoln Hospital.</li>
<li>Maintain familiarity with medical and social services and resources available both on-site and in the community</li>
<li>Provide referrals, care coordination, and direct assistance to support clients applying and/or attending appointments for: Medicaid/Medicare, mental health services, medical care, and substance treatment</li>

<li>Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and psychosocial reports with clients</li>

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Anesthesiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. There are ample leadership opportunities in our growing practice, and although we don't handle heart surgeries or transplants, we do encounter occasional pediatric cases involving children over 2 years old. Furthermore, our colleagues boast fellowships in OB anesthesia, Peds anesthesia, Pain Management, Critical Care, and Cardiothoracic anesthesia. We typically handle around 300-360 OR cases per month, with fewer than 100 deliveries per month and a labor epidural rate of approximately 80%. Additionally, our off-site areas include MRI, IR, and an endoscopy/bronchoscopy suite, with the endo suite located in the same area as the main ORs. We currently have 6 main ORs and no office anesthesia or freestanding outpatient facility. Our department benefits from three dedicated Biomedical equipment techs, and although some cases are solo without a CRNA or resident, the CRNA ratio is 1:2, and all CRNAs work under supervision. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
