<li>Assess learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or care givers; identify issues and resources.&nbsp;</li>

POSITION SUMMARY:
This is an advanced professional position responsible for the daily operation of the adult forensic program nursing services, supervision of direct service staff, and training and consultation. Oversees care provided by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Behavioral Health Technicians. Participates in Quality Improvement activities and program reporting as assigned. Reports to and functions under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Director of Adult Forensic Services. 
QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate Degree from an NLN-approved program with 2 years of nursing experience and one year of supervisory experience preferred.</li>
<li>Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida. </li>
<li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, patients, families, employees, and the general public. </li>
<li>Ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships required for proper functioning of the program and lead the team with demonstrated compassion and empathy. </li>
<li>Demonstrates skills to handle a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously. Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and facilitate tasks and work assignments. </li>

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
<ul>
<li>Provides direct supervision of assigned program staff and ensures training compliance. Supervises and/or coordinates direct service delivery of the reporting unit. </li>
<li>Directs the day-to-day operations of the assigned program staff, and manages schedules, overtime, and HR compliance. </li>
<li>Maintain cooperative relationships with internal and external programs and agencies. </li>
<li>Attend agency-wide, division, and program meetings, seminars, conferences, and workshops to maintain and enhance essential skills and knowledge. </li>
<li>Interviews/hires prospective employees and orients them to the program. </li>
<li>Assume administrative and supervisory duties in the supervisor’s absence. </li>
<li>Performs other duties that are similar, related, or are a logical assignment to the job. </li>

Beebe Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Forensic Nursing Coordinator to lead our forensic nursing program, supporting victims of sexual assault, abuse, and violence. This role is responsible for coordinating, planning, organizing, and implementing forensic nursing services while ensuring compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and national standards of care.
The Forensic Nursing Coordinator plays a key leadership role in developing policies and procedures, overseeing training and education for forensic nurse examiners, and monitoring program performance to ensure the delivery of trauma-informed, patient-centered care. This registered nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including law enforcement, advocacy groups, and healthcare providers—to enhance Beebe Healthcare's response to victims and promote community awareness around forensic and sexual assault care.
\n\nResponsibilities:\n
