Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

Fills container with correct amount of product according to weight and count.&nbsp; Packs items to be shipped.&nbsp; Seals and weighs containers.&nbsp; Generates and affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons.&nbsp; May have to generate bar code label clients.

Completes and generates packing slip.&nbsp;

We are looking for an experienced MAINTENANCE STOREROOM CLERK to join our Lithia Springs, GA plant. This is a fulltime position Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with likelihood of overtime. We offer competitive benefits and salary, plus up to $1.00/hr increase after 90 days. This position maintains inventory by preparing purchase orders and bid requests; adding received goods to inventory; maintaining information systems and historical references. You will also work closely with all departments in the facility, including Production, Shipping, and more. About the Role
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Handle all MP2 and physical spare parts inventor duties which includes receiving parts, putting them into stock and entering them in the MP2 inventory data base. </li>
<li>Ensure that the proper spare parts are in stock.2. Monitor and assign all manual work orders and process them into work orders which will enable the maintenance department to have proper tracking of work performed.</li>
<li>Generate and print all essential reports for plant management which will ensure proper communication of work performed by maintenance and on-site request inputting by production.</li>
<li>Conduct over-all maintenance of the MP2 system which will result in a reliable system.</li>
<li>Establish and maintain a valid and current BOM for all equipment in MP2 which will result in an accurate equipment records.</li>
<li>Monitor inventory locations in MP2 and in the physical storage which will result in being able to quickly find parts.</li>
<li>Verifies warehouse inventory by inputting and adding supplies received to current inventory levels. </li>
<li>Ready and able to lift up to 50 pounds and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.</li>
</ul>
About You
We Require:
<ul>
<li>2 - 5 years experience in a similar field.</li>
<li>Skilled with Microsoft Office and CMMS</li>
<li>Safety-minded with thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and of related safety practices.</li>
<li>Remarkable sense of urgency.</li>
<li>Great work ethic and impeccable attendance.</li>
<li>Ability to understand technical service manuals and maintain basic records for repair work done.</li>
<li>Ability to perform assigned tasks properly and in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Ability to operate personal computer and knowledge of basic computer applications, including computer generated parts and service manuals.</li>
<li>Maintain a current state Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.</li>
<li>Good communication and interpersonal relationships.</li>
<li>Must be able to work overtime when necessary</li>
<li>Able to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb.</li>
