Vaccine Administration:

<li>Administer a variety of theater specific vaccines to Military Service Members in adherence to established protocols and guidelines. Vaccines may include but not limited to Varicella, Anthrax, Typhoid, Hep A, Hep B, Influenza, and TDAP. </li>
<li>Ensure the accurate and safe storage, handling, and disposal of vaccines according to regulatory standards.</li>
<li>Usage of Temp Tale device and proper documentation for receiving, shipping, and handling of vaccines. </li>

Patient Assessment:

<li>Conduct thorough pre-vaccination assessments to identify contraindications and assess the patient's overall health status. </li>
<li>Educate patients about the benefits and potential side effects of vaccines, addressing any concerns or questions. </li>
<li>Follow policies and procedures for allergic reactions and emergencies while on site, thorough knowledge and understanding of the use of emergency supplies and epi-pen usage if necessary. </li>

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (not limited to): 
<ol>
<li>Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification.</li>
<li>Registered – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT(R) (CT) required.</li>
<li>Completes Samaritan appropriate CT modality orientation.</li>
<li>Minimum of two (2) years experience in hospital setting preferred.</li>
<li>Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.</li>
</ol>
