Providence Mother and Baby Clinics is seeking an On-Call Certified Nurse Midwife or Family Nurse Practitioner to join their skilled and compassionate team of Lactation Consultants. In this role, you will serve recently delivered mother/baby couplets during the postpartum period in a lactation focused outpatient practice. You will work closely with pediatricians and OB/GYN providers to provide post discharge follow up of both mother and infant with ongoing lactation support for families who elect to breastfeed. Minimum Qualifications:

<li>Current certification as a Nurse-Midwife</li>
<li>Master's degree in Nurse Midwifery</li>
<li>North Carolina state licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse-Midwife</li>
<li>DEA Licensure</li>
<li>BCLS, ACLS and NRP certified</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Prior L&amp;D hospital based experience</li>
<li>Flexibility to provide inpatient and outpatient coverage</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals</li>

Responsibilities:

<li>Outpatient and Inpatient care of OB/GYN patients</li>
