Putnam Court is a building which was developed and is operated by Dunn Development Corp., a private developer.&nbsp; Putnam Court is a newly constructed residential building located on Putnam Avenue between Irving Place and Downing Street in the Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn.&nbsp; The project consists of a seven-story elevator building containing 59 residential units, with 58 units of rental housing and one superintendent’s unit. CAMBA, Inc. is the on-site services provider at Putnam Court. Thirty-four apartments, 58% of the units in the building, will be master leased by CAMBA and will house Population A chronically homeless single adults who are diagnosed with SPMI (seriously and persistently mentally ill) or MICA (mentally III and chemically addicted). The remaining 24 units are occupied by community residents, who may require some services.

What The Program Manager Does:
<ul>
<li>Communicate with peers in other CAMBA programs on issues related to client progress and best program practices.</li>
<li>Work with direct reporting staff to set staff performance targets in accordance with contract requirements.</li>

<li>Interface with the Director of Housing Operations or the property management company to ensure the building is clean and operating efficiently.</li>

Scaling Community Violence Intervention (CVI) for a Safer Chicago (SC2) is an expanding network of donors, anti-violence practitioners, and community stakeholders dedicated to enhancing CVI in the neighborhoods of Chicago most affected by violence. New Life Centers is partnering with six local community-based organizations; Central States SER, Enlace, Hope Culture, Erie House, Universidad Popular, and Beyond the Ball as The Pathways to Peace. The Pathways to Peace program aim to serve 75% of the highest-risk individuals in the area over five years through comprehensive street outreach, case management, education, employment, and behavioral health services. 
Position Summary 
The Street Outreach Mentor position is full-time, 40 hours per week (non-exempt, benefits available). The Street Outreach Mentor will work to gain trust of the community and the highest risk individuals to help prevent shootings and retaliatory violence, and to provide linkages and robust accompaniment to prosocial alternatives including activities, jobs, education, case management, and social services. As a member of a team, the Street Outreach Mentor is responsible for reaching out to the highest risk individuals in the community and working with them to prevent violence by mediating conflicts, modeling prosocial behaviors, engaging them in positive activities and accompaniment through the case management process. Some weekends and some on-call in response to crisis situations will be required. Flexible schedule required. Focus neighborhoods may include Little Village, Pilsen, and Brighton Park. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Responsible to the Chief Judge, administrator and the supervisor. • Must comply with all applicable statutes, administrative orders, court rules and all regulations promulgated by the Chief Judges and any amendments thereof. • Keeps a monthly report of all transcripts on order and files the original report as directed by the Chief Judge. • Prepares all transcripts in a timely manner. • Monitors court proceedings with AOIC approved audio and/or video electronic recording systems, keeps a log of all cases and event times. • Operates personal computer (i.e. word processing, spread sheet or database applications). • Follows proper courtroom etiquette, including, but not limited to, confidentiality, impartiality to &nbsp;&nbsp; parties, and&nbsp; appropriate demeanor and dress as specified by the regulations and local rules. • Performs other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS Three (3) years of court&nbsp;reporting/stenographic background or experience required. Education, training or an associate’s degree may be substituted for up to two (2) years of experience. Completion of the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts’ Court Specialist certification program within six (6) months of employment is required. SELECTION FACTORS Knowledge and Skills 1. Position Overview: 
As the Transcript Processing Specialist plays a critical role in the production and delivery of accurate, timely transcripts. This position is responsible for reviewing audio and reporter materials, preparing audio and materials for transcribers, and distributing assignments to transcribers from legal proceedings, meetings, and other recorded events. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage a high volume of tasks while maintaining quality standards and confidentiality. This position requires a focused and motivated candidate with the ability to work in an autonomous setting. We hire intelligent, well-rounded people from a variety of backgrounds. 
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Prepare Court Reporter Materials and audio for transcription. </li>

<li>Edit audio and materials as needed to ensure quality and to ease distribution. </li>
<li>Track transcription progress daily to maintain on-time delivery of work and ensure client satisfaction. </li>

<li>Upload audio into transcription partner portals for transcription. </li>

<li>Alert Transcription manager to potential problems in the department or quality issues. </li>

<li>Confirm typist invoices and check them against final documents to ensure proper payments are made. </li>
</ul>

<li>Communicate with other departments (e.g., Production, Scheduling, Client Services) to coordinate transcript needs and priorities.</li>
<li>Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive legal materials and client information. </li>
<li>Assist with special projects, transcript revisions, or re-deliveries as needed.</li>
<li>Understand the transcript lifecycle and find ways to improve processes for efficiency and quality. </li>

PAY RATE: $12.00/hr
The Sports Official is responsible for the health, safety, and welfare of each child enrolled in the program. A Sports Official must demonstrate leadership, show active participation and enthusiasm on the court or field, while serving as a positive role model to all participants and other staff in accordance with the policies and procedures of the YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley. Sports include but are not limited to: Soccer, Basketball, Futsol, Flag Football, T-Ball, Softball, Volleyball and Track.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

<li>Be able to model the YMCA core values: caring, honest respect, and responsibility.</li>
<li>Be able to officiate/referee the sport assigned, demonstrate and teach core skills through academy style classes and during games. </li>
<li>Provide customer service to fulfill the needs of the participants and the coaches as well as using teachable moments as often as possible during the course of the game, as well as memorize the "YMCA Sports Pledge" and be able to present it on game day to the kids.</li>
<li>Ensure a consistent and quality experience for all participants, parents and volunteers. </li>
<li>Able to interact and diffuse situations with dissatisfied individuals. </li>
<li>Set up and take down the necessary sports equipment needed for the game while maintaining a clean and safe work site; assist custodial staff as needed to ensure a clean and safe environment. </li>
<li>Read and understand the rules that have been developed for the YMCA league as well as enforce the rules using a whistle, verbal communication, colored flags, or other tools relevant to the game being played. </li>
<li>Provide direct supervision to program participants at all times and ensure a safe environment. If a hazardous situation occurs the official must act swiftly to correct it while demonstrating professionalism in executing tasks.</li>
<li>Understand and follow all safety rules and regulations including knowledge of emergency procedures and location of emergency equipment. Attend all in-service training and staff meetings.</li>
<li>Prepare incident reports accurately, consistently and in accordance with established timelines. Seek guidance from supervisor in unusual circumstances. </li>
<li>Adherence to all policies and procedures of the YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley.</li>
<li>Participate in and solicit others to participate in necessary YMCA financial development efforts, specifically the Annual Campaign.</li>
<li>Maintain certifications listed under Certificates and Other Requirements. </li>

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to run to keep up with the pace of the game/play. Must be able to stand, walk for at least an hour at a time, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear regularly, and stoop and kneel occasionally. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision, distance vision, use of both eyes, depth perception, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to use oral communication skills; observe and interpret people and situations; analyze and solve problems; perform work on multiple, concurrent tasks with constant interruptions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment can vary from quiet to loud depending upon events and hours.
