South College invites applications for the position of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) Program Director at the South College Marietta Campus. The Program Director reports to the campus President, and in conjunction with the Clinical Coordinator, is responsible for integrating all clinical education with didactic education. 
Responsibilities:

<li>Oversees the structure and daily operation of the program, including organizations, administration, periodic review, and evaluation, continued development, and general effectiveness of program curricula.</li>

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES:

<li> Sonographer with specialization/interest in Ultrasound Physics </li>
<li>Must have a minimum of four years of related practical work experience in the subject area(s) taught and possess a related degree at least at the same level as the course the faculty member is teaching </li>
<li>Maintain current certification(s) with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography license and all continuing education requirements set by Smith Chason College in the fields being taught and provide school copies of all the above on a yearly basis. </li>

Completes timely quality control procedures in accordance with regulatory standards and performing notification/remediation as warranted.
