Ashland Public Library in Ashland, MA is seeking a committed and engaged Assistant Director/Director of Youth Services Librarian serving a fun and diverse community. This is a 40 hour/week position (some evenings and Saturdays) with full benefits. Salary range $65,000 - $75,000.

This role works cross functionally with the Contract Executive, the Finance Manager, and the Lines of Business leads, and the Vendor Equivalents to assure that the contract is being correctly executed. Manage overall compliance with contractual terms &amp; conditions:

<li>Develop a Deliverables &amp; Obligations Tracker, establishes a process for D&amp;O tracking, assigns D&amp;O responsibilities and manages the Firm and Vendor compliance with obligations on an ongoing basis</li>
<li>Monitor and maintain the Vendor and Firms compliance with contract terms and conditions, commitments and notifications.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>

Position Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Ensures that all terms and conditions of the agreement are satisfied, contractual constructs are fit for purpose and mitigate any risk exposures, works with the Vendor to progress the goals and objectives of the set of agreements.</li>
<li>Provides a structured process, rules of engagement and end-to-end support for contractual issue/dispute resolution</li>
<li>Resolves escalated issues in accordance with the post-contract governance escalation procedures.</li>
<li>Manages the end-to-end Supplier Audit process, ensures that appropriate audit controls are in place for Vendor’s processes and invoices, in accordance with the established by the Firm’s Risk and Control Policies.</li>
<li>Potentially manages Vendor exit.</li>
<li>Considers and balances multiple Lines of Business inputs to ensure that appropriate management of the overall contract is implemented.</li>
</ul>
Guards the commercial relationship with the Vendor
<ul>
<li>Guards and owns the integrity of the pricing schedules and mechanisms and ensures they are fit for purpose</li>
<li>Evaluates Performance and approves and action plans resulting from critical service performance failures.</li>
<li>Manages and re-pricing making use of existing contractual mechanisms for cost/price changes</li>
<li>Ensure any scope change or extension is commercially optimized using contractual mechanisms</li>
<li>Verifies proposals and RFX responses against contractual terms and conditions (including pricing, proposed charging mechanisms, chargeability of items) proposing if necessary the most appropriate solution for the Firm.</li>
<li>Ensures commercial optimization of the contract by making use of contractual levers to limit or reduce cost and by educating the retained organization on the contractual mechanisms.</li>
<li>Act as primary point of escalation for any billing or contract related issues/ disputes</li>
<li>Acts as the lead negotiator for all amendments, contract interpretations, new services and any other issues requiring contractual resolution.</li>
<li>Manages benchmarking and mark-to-market activities as provided for in the contract or MSA</li>
<li>Ensure that audit and risk guidelines are followed and appropriate procedures and practices are in place as required.</li>
</ul>
Is responsible for Contract Maintenance
<ul>
<li>Manage the end-to-end process of Contract Change from development through to execution, including, negotiation of terms, development of contract documents, review by legal, and obtaining the relevant stakeholder approvals.

<li>Maintaining Log of all Change Requests and current status</li>
<li>Impact Assessments</li>
<li>Negotiation with Vendor in conjunction with Central Sourcing&nbsp; and Firm wide processes and procedures</li>

Our Photography Studio Assistant will be passionate, creative, and organized with the ability to conceptualize a scene and execute in-studio or on-location and deliver a wide variety of valuable photo assets based on the business goals of the shoot. This position works well will various people and loves a challenge, juggling multiple projects and working on sometimes tight deadlines to deliver a great product. 
Duties and Responsibilities

<li>Assists studio operations at Outdoor Cap Company, JUNK Brands, &amp; Legendary Headwear including checking and setup of equipment, product inventory for shoots, and set up and tear down of scenes in-studio or on-location</li>
<li>Assists all photographic execution of the day-to-day visual asset needs of the company to include lifestyle photography, product photography, and the occasional company picnic, adventure, or outing.</li>
<li>Assists all post production from shoots including retouching, selection, cataloguing, and storing in appropriate digital asset management systems</li>
<li>Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for photography in the organization and works with other departments on their photo needs that vary from factory product photography to photos for customer approvals.</li>
<li>Acts as the asset and digital librarian of the organizations ensuring multiple copies of each asset are preserved both in and outside company walls with appropriate meta-data and descriptions for future searchability and access</li>

seeking to hire a part-time Library Assistant. This position reports to the Access Services
Librarian.
 
Roles &amp; Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>The Edward Neisser Library houses a unique collection of approximately 20,000 volumes that support the social work, child development, and early childhood education curricula at the Institute.</li>
<li>The Library Assistant is responsible for staffing the Circulation/Information Desk during assigned shifts and assisting with the general functions of the Edward Neisser Library. This includes responding to library users’ questions, circulating library materials, and basic technology troubleshooting. This position also opens and closes the library according to established procedures as necessary.</li>
<li>The Library Assistant is also responsible for assisting with collection maintenance by processing new material, shelving returned material, and conducting shelf-reading and inventory as assigned. Special projects may also be assigned, including - but not limited to - scanning library material, creating displays and signage, and reorganizing library collections.</li>
</ul>
