Job Summary
<ul>
<li>The Supply Clerk is responsible for overseeing the sourcing and distribution of materials, supplies, and equipment within an organization. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with Facilities and Maintenance to ensure that supplies are properly managed and distributed in a timely manner. This position answers directly to the Project Cost and Sourcing Estimator. This is a safety sensitive position.</li>

Essential Functions:

<li>Works closely with other Port Departments including Purchasing</li>
<li>Process documents into NetSuites for processing</li>
<li>Creates purchase request documents and forwards them to supervision for review and approval</li>
<li>Picks up and delivers supplies and/or materials as needed</li>
<li>Fills orders or issues supplies upon proper authorization to line employees</li>
<li>Provides information and recommendations, proposal quotes, on stock items and billing to other departments.</li>
<li>Communicates with vendors, both verbally and in writing, on matters relating to supplies and equipment</li>
<li>Delivers items to end users in original containers whenever possible</li>
<li>Maintains records and prepares necessary reports using Port accounting and computer network.</li>
<li>Ability to comprehend, carry out and explain detailed verbal and written instructions or information</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products</li>
<li>ERP experience (NetSuite preferred)</li>
<li>Ability to learn and proficiently use Port email and Maximo CCMS software</li>
<li>Verifiable ability to create and maintain accurate and complete repair and preventative maintenance records (purchase orders, material requisitions, work orders, governmental compliance records, inventory etc.) </li>
<li>Knowledge and commitment to maintain inventories free of damage and loss or waste of Port property that is in their care and custody</li>

Minimum Qualifications:

<li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent </li>
<li>Three (3) years of experience in a supply sourcing role or similar is preferred</li>
<li>General knowledge of facilities maintenance supplies and equipment</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of inventory management software or databases</li>

9. Filing of truck files, maintain DOT compliance, proofread repair orders and DVIR sheets. &nbsp;

Security Clearance:

Responsibilities
The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for performing warehousing activities, inventory control, and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Check in all daily incoming shipments for all vendors by comparing actual count to packing slip.</li>
<li>Post all incoming packing slip into the computer. Follow all company procedures for shortages or damaged parts.</li>
<li>Process all incoming stock orders within 24 hours.</li>
<li>Put away all incoming stock in the appropriate bin location as indicated in the computer. Ensure that all parts put into stock are properly labeled with a barcode bin label.</li>
<li>Locate all new parts posted into stock determine the correct location and make changes in the computer along with labeling new parts.</li>
<li>Check in all incoming interbranch shipments from all branches by comparing actual count to the packing slip.</li>
<li>Process all inter-branch packing slips into the computer. Generate a picking list and places parts in the appropriate area for delivery of shipment.</li>
<li>Dispose of any packing material not needed after each shipment is checked in.</li>
<li>Pull all customer orders as indicated on the picking list and place in either will call, package for shipment, or dispatch for delivery.</li>
<li>Keep the parts warehouse clean and organized. Follow all corporate safety guidelines and policy.</li>
<li>Maintain all parts in “will call” by ensuring that all parts pulled are placed in the appropriate “will call” bin and all paperwork associated with the order is placed with the parts.</li>
<li>Maintain all junk core inventory by ensuring that all cores are checked in and tagged with the customer information, original invoice number and credit memo number. Place all junk cores in the assigned area and returns weekly. Ship or dispatch delivery of all cores to respective vendors.</li>
<li>Dispatch parts drivers to addresses indicated on the sales invoice or purchase order.</li>
<li>Must be able to read a map and develop specific driving directions and instructions to be provided to each driver as needed.</li>
<li>Process and maintain all returns by properly putting up all parts being returned from customers. Ensure that parts are in new re-saleable condition.</li>
<li>Must file freight claims for any shortages or damaged parts received within 24 hours of receipt.</li>
<li>May be required to serve as backup to Parts Driver in the event of absence or emergency delivery.</li>
<li>Pull returns to go back to vendor. Properly package and process for shipping out.</li>

Basic Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).</li>
<li>Three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>
<li>If required to drive, for any reason, on behalf of the company, must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.</li>
<li>Must be trained and certified by the Company in using our Forklift equipment; and must be certified within 90 days. Law requires Forklift operators to be at least 18 years old.</li>
<li>Must have ability to use a box or cardboard crusher.</li>
<li>Computer literate with the ability to learn and be proficient in any software program utilized by the Company.</li>
