<li>Prescribe and dispense contraceptives following PPSAT policies</li>
<li>Apply correct CPT and ICD-10 coding, including E&amp;M code selection</li>
<li>Participate in PPSAT’s Quality &amp; Risk Management Program, supporting audits, testing, and clinical improvement initiatives</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with clinicians, health center teams, and partnering agencies</li>
<li>Provide gender-affirming patient care in line with clinical protocols</li>
<li>Recognize abnormal findings, coordinate follow-up, and provide referrals when needed</li>
<li>Serve as clinical support during abortion care, including sonography, informed consent, medication administration, lab evaluation, recovery, and follow-up</li>
<li>Help train and mentor clinicians, students, and other medical professionals</li>
<li>As a Float Clinician, you will rotate across all PPSAT health centers in Virginia and North Carolina, following all PPSAT travel policies.</li>

RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Provide full-scope midwifery care including independent management of women’s health care focusing primarily on pregnancy, birth, postpartum as well as family planning, gynecological and primary care of women.</li>
<li>Practice that provides for consultation, collaborative management or referral to obstetrics, perinatology, and other specialties as indicated by client health status</li>
<li>Manage hospital labor assessment and admission, normal and abnormal labor, cervical ripening and labor induction, postpartum care and discharge.</li>
<li>Perform vaginal birth and laceration repair, limited 1st trimester and 3rd trimester OB ultrasounds as appropriate to training and experience, C-section first surgical assist, and IUD and subdermal contraceptive implant insertion and removal.</li>

Responsibilities

<li>From time to time may provide in-service training for staff in selected topics within scope of practice of medicine as appropriate, and/or as deemed necessary by the CMO or his/her designee.</li>
<li>Performs all duties for successful electronic health records maintenance including but not limited to: completion of medical records and documentation management of Inbox and results, coding, and signing off charts within the designated time set by the organization.</li>
<li>Assists in internal quality control audits, performs and maintains the standards of quality of care based on specialty and organizational standards.</li>
<li>Discusses or refers as needed, complex and high priority patient cases.</li>
<li>Performs all duties and services in full compliance with the organization’s Service Excellence Standards. Adheres to all canons of ethics including the organization’s code of conduct for clinical providers.</li>
<li>Demonstration of patterns of continued learning in order to ensure growth as a practitioner.</li>
<li>Attends internal and external meetings, workshops, and conferences, and participates on task forces or committees, as necessary and/or required by TVHC, Inc.</li>

<li>Works as a member of the health care team and assists in education of patients and the community in preventive health care and health maintenance concepts.</li>

Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Board Certified/Eligible in designated specialty field of practice is required.</li>
<li>Must be in possession of a current medical license to practice in the State of California, including DEA license, and CPR.</li>
<li>Previous experience providing medical care within a community health setting preferred.</li>
