GENERAL SUMMARY

Member Service:

Operational Effectiveness &amp; Transaction Processing
• Accurately process monetary transactions, etc. upon verification of identification, signatures and Member account status and accurately enter transactions into the Credit Union records via the on-line teller terminal.
• Review negotiable items with attention to detail to ensure negotiability.
• Ability to accurately operate and balance a Teller Drawer within specified times.
• Completes high quality work, which is free of errors, thorough, neat and with good attention to detail.
• Achieve Productivity Goals (transactions per hour) per month.
• Alert to Counterfeit Items, Red Flags (Identity Theft Prevention), Forgery (Checks, Money Orders, Travelers Cheques, etc.)

TEKsystems is currently searching for professional candidates interested in a Bank Teller opportunity with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in the Sugarland TX, 77478 area!
Job Description:
To provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services offered by the client including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts; Lending products; and credit/debit cards. To perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision. Provide assistance/training to lower level team members.
Experience
<ul>
<li>1-3 years of banking experience, retail, cash handling, customer service</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via email</li>
<li>Associate or Bachelor degree preferred but not required</li>
</ul>
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans</li>
<li>Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications</li>
<li>Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services</li>
<li>Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly</li>
<li>Identify opportunities to cross service products and increase product penetration</li>
<li>Perform platform banking functions</li>
<li>Assist level I team members</li>
<li>Understand and comply with federal and other regulations relating to financial products and services</li>
<li>May assist with Branch Office vault opening, closing and balancing procedures</li>
<li>May serve as a Branch Office and/or ATM vault custodian</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Hours:&nbsp;full-time 40hr work week - MUST be available for shift to fluctuate between the hours of&nbsp;Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm, Saturday: 8:00am-2:00pm.&nbsp;Could be expected to work 2-4 Saturdays a month depending on business need. When scheduled short shift on saturday, you will have time off throughout the week to balance your 40hrs - Schedule provided 2 weeks in advance.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
