Requirements:

<li>You have a bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's/Ph.D. a plus).</li>
<li>You have Nursing Home Administrator Certification (NHA license preferred).</li>
<li>You have 5+ years ofbroad administrative and operational experience in a Nursing Home or Long-Term Care Residential Facility.</li>
<li>You have extensive clinical RN experience, esp. in wound care, pressure ulcers, and prevention.</li>
<li>Your teaching experience is preferred.</li>
<li>You have exceptional analytical and communication skills (written &amp; verbal).</li>
<li>You can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.</li>
<li>You are willing to travel approximately 20% on average.</li>
<li>You have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive.</li>
<li>Prior forensic experience is not required. We seek professionals eager to apply their deep industry knowledge to a challenging new domain.</li>

Responsibilities
Elwyn currently seeks a Mental Health Professional to support our wonderful new Young Adult Residential Treatment program, set to launch in early 2025. The Mental Health Professional will develop, implement, and document individual progress for individuals with behavioral health and forensic issues who are residents of Elwyn's Young Adult Residential Treatment Facility (YA-RTF). Provides supervision and programmatic decision-making. Completes mental status exams utilizing current knowledge of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, version IV (DSM-IV). Provides supportive counseling and acts as an advocate to represent the individual's needs and rights with all outside support service agencies, families, etc. Assists and supports individuals in all activities of daily living. Designs and facilitates therapeutic groups. Plans and implements community integration plans.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Develop and implement individual programs for individuals with behavioral health challenges and provide other individualized case management functions as directed by supervisor or director </li>

<li>Intervene in crisis situations in accordance with established agency protocol </li>
<li>Encourage individuals in the constructive use of leisure time </li>
<li>Escort individuals to and from appointments </li>
<li>Attend scheduled staff meetings </li>
<li>Facilitate resident meetings</li>
<li>Attend appropriate in-service as directed by supervisor and required by funder and regulatory bodies </li>
<li>Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team </li>
<li>Conduct fire drills and building inspections and provide the appropriate documentation for same </li>

<li>Remain on duty until relieved </li>

 QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
