This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality, patient-centered care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Deliver holistic nursing care to patients of all ages, including medication administration (oral, injectable, and topical), venipuncture, and treatment under provider orders.</li>
<li>Conduct patient triage by collecting vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, height, weight) and recording medical histories.</li>
<li>Maintain up-to-date, accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with medical staff and patients to ensure continuity of care.</li>
<li>Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive health measures.</li>
<li>Uphold clinical standards and follow established protocols, policies, and procedures.</li>
<li>Participate in case management, patient follow-up, and coordination of care with internal and external providers.</li>
<li>Assist the Director of Nursing with staff orientation, training, and clinical competencies for new and current employees.</li>
<li>Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities and assist in corrective action plans as needed.</li>
<li>Monitor and maintain quality assurance processes including medical record audits, standing orders, emergency equipment checks, and clinical supply inventory.</li>
<li>Respond to patient complaints and resolve clinical issues in collaboration with the DON and Chief Medical Officer (CMO).</li>
<li>Support accreditation readiness and grant compliance by following documentation standards and contributing to reporting requirements.</li>
<li>Attend mandatory meetings, participate in committees, and engage in professional development and in-service education.</li>
<li>Ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of vaccines in compliance with VFC, GRITS, and provider agreement requirements.</li>
<li>Support organizational goals and strategic planning efforts under the Neighborhood Improvement Project, Inc.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of licensure.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
Education:
<ul>
<li>Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.</li>
<li>Current and unrestricted LPN license in the State of Georgia or South Carolina (as applicable).</li>
<li>CPR certification required.</li>
</ul>
Experience:
<ul>
<li>Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience in a primary care, urgent care, or outpatient healthcare setting preferred.</li>
<li>Experience in administering immunizations and managing vaccines is a plus.</li>
</ul>
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
<ul>
<li>Proficient in clinical procedures, including medication administration and phlebotomy.</li>
<li>Ability to apply nursing principles in a culturally competent, patient-centered manner.</li>
<li>Strong communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.</li>
<li>Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and familiarity with EHR systems.</li>
<li>Capacity to multitask and remain calm in high-pressure or emergency situations.</li>
<li>Commitment to quality improvement and continuous learning.</li>
<li>Knowledge of GRITS, VFC, OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements.</li>

Typical Physical Demands:
<ul>
<li>Full range of motion including handling and lifting patients, manual dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.</li>
<li>Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting items up to 50 pounds.</li>
<li>Occasional exposure to infectious diseases, blood and body fluids, and other medical waste.</li>
<li>Must be able to work under physically and emotionally stressful conditions in a clinical environment.</li>
