About the Role:Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans to determine project requirements.</li>
<li>Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications.</li>
<li>Install structures and fixtures such as tables, cabinets, doors, windows, and flooring.</li>
<li>Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.</li>
<li>Inspect and repair existing frameworks and structures to ensure stability and compliance.</li>
<li>Select appropriate materials and hardware for each project based on durability and design.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety standards at all times.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects on schedule.</li>
<li>Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet design and safety standards.</li>
<li>Keep accurate records of materials used and time spent on projects.</li>
<li>Any other responsibilities assigned as well. </li>

About YouWe Require:
<ul>
<li>Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.</li>
<li>Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.</li>
<li>Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.</li>
<li>Preferred – Experience working in a manufacturing environment.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently. Over 50 pounds, a forklift or crane will be used. Must be able to push or pull cart with 80 pounds of force. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders. Must be able to step up 20 inches. </li>

Job Overview: Apartment Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for building, installing, and repairing structural woodwork and other materials across our residential properties. The ideal candidate has strong woodworking experience, a team-oriented attitude, and a commitment to high-quality resident service.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Install, maintain, and repair a range of items including cabinetry, insulation, drywall, tile, and trim.</li>
<li>Rebuild and install doors, windows, and cabinets.</li>
<li>Cut, shape, measure, and alter materials as needed.</li>
<li>Perform drywall work and incidental touch-up painting following repairs.</li>
<li>Support team members in completing service requests and unit turnovers.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop.</li>
<li>Respond to resident work orders and checklist deficiencies promptly.</li>
<li>Ensure tools and equipment are in safe working order.</li>
<li>Participate in snow removal, salting, and pretreating during winter weather events.</li>
<li>Maintain compliance with safety protocols, Fair Housing regulations, and company policies.</li>
<li>Provide your own tools to complete assigned tasks.</li>
<li>Assist with other maintenance-related duties as needed.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Proficiency in using carpentry tools and related shop equipment.</li>
<li>Strong experience with drywall, ceramic tile, and interior door installation.</li>
<li>Knowledge of kitchen and bathroom renovations preferred.</li>
<li>Excellent time management and communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to take accurate measurements and read work orders.</li>
<li>Residential turnover experience is a plus.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including squatting, lifting, stretching, and overhead work.</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license and vehicle required for daily use.</li>
<li>Must be available for winter weather emergencies and rotating assignments.</li>
<li>Must have reliable phone and email contact.</li>
<li>May be required to work at multiple locations within the company.</li>
