The group currently consists of four board certified physicians and certified nurse midwives with a long-established reputation throughout the region. We are seeking a well-trained and caring CNM who prefers to work in a small-town setting with all of the sophistication of a major medical center. &nbsp;&nbsp;The primary office is located in a suite at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck. A secondary office is located across the Hudson River in the historic city of Kingston in an office shared with primary care. Deliveries are at The Neugarten Family Birth Center at Northern Dutchess Hospital. The Birthing Center provides a safe, holistic and family-centered birthing experience with advanced medical and surgical offerings.&nbsp; Built on a solid reputation for providing sophisticated maternity care in a homelike setting, the Birthing Center offers moms a single-room birthing experience where she labors, delivers, recovers and stays in one single room with her baby.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Rhinebeck is part of one of the largest historic districts in the US located along the scenic Hudson River. Use advanced knowledge of and specialized skills in midwifery to manage normal childbirth and provide antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care.</li>
<li>Takes patients' medical, social and obstetric history; performs physical, vaginal, breast, clinical pelvimetry and general health status OB and GYN exams; orders and/or performs approved laboratory and diagnostic exams, consulting with and/or referring complications to a physician.</li>
<li>Perform limited sonography; first trimester dating and viability assessment, third trimester AFIs and fetal position confirmation.</li>

Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) - SSM Health Dean Medical Group- Madison, Wisconsin SSM Health is actively recruiting a full-time (0.8 FTE) Certified Nurse Midwife to join our amazing team in Madison, Wisconsin, at our south Madison campus. In this traditional practice setting, you will see clinic patients, deliver babies, perform procedures and round on hospital patients. Requirements

<li>Active WI RN and CNM licensure</li>
<li>IBCLC certification preferred </li>

The Opportunity

<li>Join a team of four CNM who have a shared practice model and work very well together, and who are an integral part of our Ob/Gyn department.</li>

<li>Inpatient responsibilities (Obstetric Care); in-house Ob/Gyn for consultation.</li>
<li>2-3 clinic days per week</li>
<li>Call shared equally with the other CNM; call is taken from home unless the patient is in labor and then the CNM is with the patient</li>
<li>Once onboarded anticipate seeing 18 patients per day in clinic and part of a team that delivers 220 babies per year.</li>
