Responsibilities
What you will do as a Server
<ul>
<li>Set and clear tables, take residents’ dining orders and provide the highest level of customer service. </li>
<li>Review menus with residents and acquaint new residents with dining at Atria.</li>
<li>Assist with the preparation, delivery and cleanup of daily meals, banquets and special events.</li>
<li>Create a strong sense of teamwork with your colleagues and positive relationships with residents.</li>
<li>Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers and equipment used in the dining room. </li>
</ul>

The Position
The Server is responsible for the complete service of Food and Beverages. The main goal is to provide members and guests with an enjoyable dining experience. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic group of hard working, caring and dedicated professionals. 
Two years of comparable wait service experience required. Full-time position is offered.
Requirements:
Job Knowledge and Expectations 
<ul>
<li> Greet and acknowledge members and guests.</li>
<li> Knowledgeable about food and wines and spirits.</li>
<li> Ability to take orders accurately and time the service of each course.</li>
<li> Learns members’ names and their special preferences.</li>
<li> Able to assist setting up table and moving light furniture</li>
</ul>
Job Duties 
<ul>
<li> Sets up side station and performs assigned side (prep) work.</li>
<li> Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating.</li>
<li> Distributes food and wine menus; answers questions.</li>
<li> Ensures that the correct account numbers and names are given for billing.</li>
<li> Efficiently serves food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner, offers suggestions on daily specials and wine selections.</li>
<li> Places orders with kitchen, including any special instructions.</li>
<li> Serves meals; places dishes by courses in front of each person.</li>
<li> Checks back to ensure member and guest satisfaction; replenishes water and butter as necessary.</li>
<li> Removes soiled dishes. Clears tables after each course and resets them with appropriate silverware.</li>
<li> Presents dessert menus, suggests and serves dessert, coffee and after-dinner drinks.</li>
<li> Keeps dining room, terrace and bus station areas clean.</li>
<li> Clears, cleans and resets tables that have been vacated.</li>
<li> Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.</li>
<li> Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned.</li>
<li> Attends pre-meal meetings as requested by the Dining Room Manager or Clubhouse Manager.</li>
<li> Follows local and state laws and the club’s policies for the service of alcoholic beverages. </li>
<li> Performs other appropriate duties assigned by Dining Room Manager or Clubhouse Manager.</li>
