<li>The Accounts Payable Specialist is a key customer service position within the company. </li>
<li>This position is responsible for resolution of discrepant carrier invoices, building shipments, updating shipment attributes, communicating internally and/or externally with Operations, Carrier Pricing, and potentially shipper/receiver facilities. </li>
<li>This role will analyze the root cause of invoice discrepancies within carrier aging, and work with the appropriate party(s) to escalate the issues as needed for final resolution. The successful candidate must display superior communication skills (consistent, professional, effective, prompt, and courteous). </li>
<li>Resolve carrier invoice discrepancies, using company guidelines, customer business rules, carrier rate agreements, etc. </li>
<li>Create shipments for non-managed freight based on pre-defined customer specific requirements</li>
<li>Know and understand account specific requirements – required charges, customer business rules, carrier contracts, etc. </li>
<li>Provide support to Operations as needed in regards to Financial issues related to their account</li>
<li>Deliver cost saving/cost containment to the customer</li>
<li>Correspond internally with Operations, Procurement, and Carrier Pricing regarding rating and accessorial invoice discrepancies as needed</li>

ROLE IMPACT
 The Bulk Receiver ensures the accurate and efficient processing of all inbound freight, supporting seamless warehouse operations. Success in this role is measured by accuracy in receiving, compliance with procedures, and the ability to manage volume while maintaining quality standards.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 • Receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments against purchase orders and system data
 • Sort packages by vendor and PO; repalletize freight as necessary for Putaway
 • Enter shipments into the Warehouse Management System with accurate item details
 • Deliver packing slips and documentation to control points as required
 • Operate powered equipment to unload trucks and transport goods within the facility
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
 • Ability to complete machine driver safety training (company-provided)
 • 1+ year experience in warehouse or inventory operations preferred
 • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
 • Strong reading, math, computer, and communication skills

Position Overview 
This labor-intensive position is responsible for loading transport, bulk, and route trucks. Each type of loading requires strict attention to order accuracy with respect to loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming trucks. Works from order sheets to build loads using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack. Position is responsible for accuracy in loading and complying with shipper/receiver documentation.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Transport a variety of windows/doors,</li>
<li>Load and unload transport, bulk and route trucks according to safe work instructions</li>
<li>Use proper loading procedure</li>
<li>Safe product handling and body mechanics</li>
<li>Drive a forklift, or use a pallet jack or other freight for transit</li>
<li>Strict attention to order accuracy in loading and unloading trucks</li>
<li>Comply with shipper / receiver documentation identifying what order to place jobs on tracker or where to take dock transfers</li>
<li>Complete Strap Log Documentation</li>
<li>Inspect units for defects or improper packaging</li>
<li>Accurately scan units</li>
<li>Place envelops and packages with their stops</li>
<li>Housekeeping</li>
<li>Prompt and regular attendance at an assigned work location</li>
<li>Interact and communicate with employees in an appropriate manner.</li>
<li>Be available on site to confer with staff members with whom the employee must interact on a regular basis.</li>
<li>Complete assigned tasks/projects in a timely manner.</li>
</ul>
 
Supervisory Responsibility
No direct management or supervisory responsibilities.
 
Safety
Observe safety and security policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment); report potentially unsafe conditions; and use equipment and materials properly. Follow job-specific safety requirements including Safe Product Handling, Safe Lift, Safe Forklift and Pallet Jack Operation.
 
Travel

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Evening and weekend work may be required to have outgoing trucks loaded and ready for drivers.
